'General Hospital' fans say give Brason/Jabritt a chance

JaSam fans are outraged that GENERAL HOSPITAL has torn their favorite couple apart and they are demanding satisfaction. There are other viewers of the ABC soap who believe that Jabritt/Brason should at least be given a chance to find out where their relationship will go. It must be difficult for the actors to try to perform with so much outside pressure.

In the past disgruntled fans wrote letters which often were screened before they reached the intended entertainer. Today, thanks to social media fans can reach out on Twitter, Instagram,k and Facebook and say whatever they choose, unfiltered. This has led to a lot of online bullying which is never the way to handle situations.

A growing number of those who watch GENERAL HOSPITAL say there is definite chemistry between Jason and Britt and even Maurice Bernard,(Sonny/Mike) believes that change is good, During an interview, Bernard discussed how some fans want him back in Port Charles as Sonny. He expressed how happy he is to be playing Mike and said that he is glad to see Steve Burton taken out of his comfort zone.

Soaps.com says that JasSam fans might get their wish as Kelly Thiebaud will be leaving the ABC soap. This has not been reported anywhere else so it's unclear if this is true or only a rumor. Britt and Jason are beginning to grow on those who notice the chemistry between the duo and desire to see their love story play out.

The GENERAL HOSPITAL writers could be simply testing the waters but some fans say they blew it for Jason and Sam when Steve Burton returned. When Billy Miller's character was determined to be Drew Cain there were a number of viewers who wanted Sam and Drew to remain together because they had gotten used t9o them. The writers had Sam unsure of which direction to take and she lost some steam with both men.

By the time they put her back with Jason, their chemistry was never the same. The next thing that happened was that Sam had an overbearing parole officer who did not want Jason living in her home, even though he is Danny's father. The powers that be then had Sam decide it was too dangerous for Danny and Scout to have Jason around after the bombing at the floating rib. This caused a number of viewers to believe the couple could never regain what they once had.

If the rumors that Kelly Thiebaud is leaving GENERAL HOSPITAL this does not automatically indicate that Jason will reunite with Sam. For some fans, Sam seems self-righteous and stubborn and they do not think she is a good fit for Jason anymore. So much has happened that it probably would take a long time for the couple to find their way back to each other. In the meantime, there is a growing number of those who watch the show that are saying to just give Jason and Britt a chance to see where things will go.

It's possible the two might have a romance while on the run and when they return to Port Charles realize that it will never work. What does not need to happen is for overzealous GENERAL HOSPITAL fans of either opinion to attack the actors on social media or bully other viewers who have a different way of looking at all of this. Remember it's only entertainment and the actors are simply trying to make living, so play nice and enjoy the ride no matter how things turn out.
