Spoiler Alert: This article contains major spoilers from Gatta Kusthi 2.

Life’s toughest battles are not always fought inside a wrestling ring. Sometimes, the biggest fights happen between two people who love each other the most. A relationship built on trust can survive almost anything, but once misunderstandings enter, even the strongest bond can start falling apart.

Gatta Kusthi 2 is not just a sports drama. It is an emotional story about a husband and wife who share the same dreams but face unexpected challenges that test their love, patience, and understanding. The movie beautifully mixes romance, family emotions, comedy, and wrestling while showing how a small misunderstanding can destroy a happy family.

The story continues from where the first film ended. Veera and Keerthi have finally solved their differences and started a new chapter of their lives. They are no longer just husband and wife; they are now parents to a beautiful daughter named Maathi.

After becoming a mother, Keerthi still dreams of achieving something big in wrestling. Veera completely supports her dream and decides to take care of all household responsibilities so that Keerthi can focus on her career.

Their family shifts to Coimbatore after Keerthi gets a railway job through the sports quota. While Keerthi works and trains hard at the wrestling academy, Veera manages everything at home. From cooking food and cleaning the house to preparing Maathi for school, Veera takes care of every responsibility without complaint.

This creates a beautiful bond between Veera and his daughter. Since Maathi spends most of her time with her father, they become extremely close.

Meanwhile, Keerthi continues her wrestling journey and starts winning competitions. During one match, Veera gives her a wrestling move that helps her win easily. However, this creates jealousy in her coach’s mind. The coach feels that Keerthi is giving all the credit to her husband instead of him.

Although he pretends to support Veera and Keerthi, deep inside he starts planning against them.

Things begin to change when Maathi’s school life becomes complicated. A student insults her by saying that her father is just like her mother because he stays at home and does household work. Angered by this, Maathi fights with the boy and Veera is called to school.

Later, when some troublemakers enter the school, Veera beats them up and proves that being a homemaker does not make him weak.

Everything seems perfect until a new teacher named Meenu enters their lives. Veera becomes interested in her because of her long hair. Since Veera always dreamed of having a wife with long hair, he starts talking to Meenu frequently.

Maathi notices this and tells Keerthi about it.

Keerthi understands her husband’s weakness and becomes suspicious. She meets Meenu and realizes why Veera was attracted to her. Slowly, insecurity and misunderstandings begin growing between Veera and Keerthi.

At the same time, Keerthi becomes frustrated because Maathi is not interested in studies. She decides to train her daughter in wrestling from a young age. However, Maathi does not want this life. She enjoys dancing and spending time with her father.

Keerthi becomes more aggressive and starts putting too much pressure on both herself and her daughter. Veera notices that his wife is changing, but he does not understand the real reason behind it.

This is where the coach sees an opportunity.

The coach tells Veera that Keerthi needs counseling because she has become angry and mentally stressed. Later, he suggests an Ayurvedic medicine that can supposedly calm her mind.

Trusting him, Veera secretly mixes the powder into Keerthi’s food.

Initially, the medicine seems to work. Keerthi becomes calmer, happier, and starts behaving like her old self again. But slowly, its negative effects appear. Her strength decreases, her energy disappears, and she starts losing wrestling matches.

During an important championship, Keerthi performs badly and loses. Soon after, the coach reveals that steroids were found in her blood, resulting in her suspension.

Keerthi is completely shattered.

She discovers that the powder Veera gave her was responsible for the steroid traces in her body. Feeling betrayed, she blames Veera for destroying her wrestling career and throws him out of the house.

Veera returns to his village, but he cannot forget his wife and daughter. His biggest pain is being separated from Maathi.

Later, he secretly spends time with Maathi after school. When Keerthi finds out, she gets angry and tries to take Maathi away. In an emotional moment, Veera finally loses control and slaps Keerthi.

This becomes another turning point in their relationship.

However, Veera never speaks badly about Keerthi in front of Maathi. Instead, he tells his daughter that her mother is a hero who fought against society, family pressure, and challenges to achieve her dreams.

Eventually, Veera discovers the truth about the powder. He confronts the Ayurvedic doctor, who reveals that everything was planned by Keerthi’s coach.

Veera attacks the coach and forces him to admit his crime. But before he can explain everything to Keerthi, the coach sends her a fake video showing Veera attacking him. Keerthi believes that Veera has completely changed.

She decides to file for divorce and demands custody of Maathi.

In court, Veera says he does not want a divorce because he loves both his wife and daughter. Then someone suggests that their fight should be decided through wrestling.

A final match is arranged between Veera and Keerthi.

If Keerthi wins, she gets the divorce and custody of Maathi. If Veera wins, their marriage continues.

The match becomes the biggest wrestling event, with huge crowds watching.

Initially, Keerthi dominates the fight and takes a massive lead. But Veera uses his clever tricks and slowly catches up. The score reaches a tie.

During the final moments, Keerthi suddenly collapses. Everyone discovers that she is pregnant. Later, she gives birth to twin daughters.

Finally, the truth about the coach’s betrayal comes out when another wrestler reveals his real intentions. Veera and Keerthi understand that their relationship was destroyed because of someone else’s plan.

They forgive each other and rebuild their family.

The movie ends with Keerthi returning to wrestling once again, proving that love, trust, and determination can overcome every challenge.

Final Verdict:
Gatta Kusthi 2 is not only about wrestling victories. It is about fighting for relationships, understanding each other, and realizing that true strength comes from love and support. The film delivers comedy, emotions, and a strong message about equality in marriage.
