If you didn't see these at the theaters, I highly recommend that you rent them.

1. 'I, Tonya'

This movie is a dramatic and exhilarating depiction of Tonya Harding's life. While this movie reveals Tonya's side of the story on her incident with Nancy Kerrigan, it also shows Tonya's hard life growing up and the blossoming of her skating career. Both fans of Tonya Harding, or people who don't know much about her will enjoy this movie. It has been nominated for Golden Globes, Oscars, and more—deservingly so. Margot Robbie does a phenomenal job portraying Tonya, not as an angel, even though it's her side of the story, but accurately and as a normal human with an exceptional talent who has led a rough life. This film promises drama, drama, and more drama, and is well worth the ticket price.

This movie is now also available on Hulu for streaming.

2. 'Murder on the Orient Express'

This movie is one of the most dramatic "who dun it's" of all time. It's a murder mystery in which every passenger on the train is a suspect. From the trailer, you can't tell who is the passenger who got murdered or who the murderer is, so I won't give that away. Basically, the film is a suspenseful shocker in which Hercule Poirot, the world's best detective, is on his way from one case to his next when the train he is on comes to an abrupt stop due to a snow bank falling on the tracks. While the train is stuck, there is a murder, and Poirot investigates. It is amazing how Poirot is able to figure out who committed the crime, as well as how the person got away with it. The ending will truly shock you.

This movie is also based on the novel, Murder on the Orient Express, by Agatha Christie, and I can guarantee that the novel is wonderful as well.

3. 'Atomic Blonde'

This movie is set in the 1970s based around a spy named Lorraine Broughton who is involved with the cold war. Broughton is the most elite spy in MI6, and she's an agent who's willing to use all of her lethal skills to stay alive during an impossible mission. Broughton is in Germany while the Berlin Wall is about to fall and this is where most of the movie takes place. Without revealing too much of the plot, there are twists, turns and lots of espionage. This is a great spy movie with action from start to finish and an ending sure to shock you.

4. 'The Greatest Showman'

This is a musical following the life of P.T. Barnum, the inventor of the circus, and and the trials he and his family face throughout their life. There's inspirational music, circus tricks, and a plot that has quite a few surprises up its sleeves. The audience watches as Barnum grows from being a poor, lonely boy without a family, to a man with everything and almost loses it all. It's a movie that is fun for all ages and even those who don't typically enjoy musicals.

5. 'Molly's Game'

This movie is the true story of the events that happened in the life of Molly Bloom. An ex Olympic skier that lost it all turns into an exclusive high-stakes poker game runner in this thrilling portrayal of her life. Forced to leave the Olympics due to injury, Molly finishes school and takes time off before law school to work. Her boss at her job has her running errands and eventually gets her to help him run his exclusive poker game. After a while, she ends up running her own exclusive game and eventually gets in trouble with the law. The movie switches timelines often between her talking to her lawyer about her poker game and other events that happened in her past.
