The past few months have been filled with fan-made projects in Unreal Engine 5. Epic Games' new iteration of its popular engine boasts considerable power, with advanced physics, lighting systems and more. Gaming fans got a glimpse of this new engine late last year via The Matrix Awakens demo showcasing a city as if it were an open-world game. Seeing Alien: Isolation in Unreal Engine 5 serves to imagine what a remake or sequel would be like running on that powerful engine.

We've seen exciting UE5 capabilities from smaller sources as well, as there have been countless demos and fan-made animations that have used the platform to recreate and reimagine classic games. We have previously seen videos showing what GTA: Vice City would look like in Unreal Engine 5. Other games like Metal Gear Solid and Skyrim have also been re-imagined in the engine. Now we can see Alien Isolation in Unreal Engine 5, from YouTube channel ENFANT TERRIBLE.
