Eric Forrester helps Phyllis to put Sally in Check during a crossover episode

On Tuesday, August 3 there will be another crossover episode between THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS and THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL. Those who watch Y&R know that Phyllis Summers is in rare form and needs answers right away. Amanda, Jack, and Kyle have all said they need cold, hard, evidence to convince them that Tara and Sally ran Summer away from Genoa City. The countdown has begun and the clock is ticking as Michael Melor's exit is coming soon.

Spoilers say that on Tuesday Sally Spectra will find yet another nail being hammered into her coffin when Phyllis has a talk with Eric Forrester. On Monday Ms. Summers made arrangements to fly to LA and when she gets there she will obtain pay dirt. She will insert herself into a meeting between Summer's boss Angelina Marchetti and the founder of Forrester Creations. Once Angelina excuses herself to make a phone call Eric will ask Phyllis why she really showed up in LA.

During their conversation, Eric will admit that Sally Spectra encouraged him to recommend Summer for the job in Milan. The fashion mogul will not be pleased to hear that Sally has continued her manipulative methods in Genoa City. He gave her a chance and instead of earning his trust, she used him as a means to an end. When Ms. Marchetti returns Phyllis will ask to take a selfie and she sends a copy to Sally showing her with Eric Forrester and Angelina Marchetti. Phyllis has now put Sally in check and Ms. Spectra will not be able to lie her way out of this situation.

Spoilers don't say what Sally's next move will be but Phyllis is going to sing like a bird. She now has that cold hard evidence that Ms. Spectra recommended her daughter for the job with Angelina Marchetti. Se still needs a way to connect the dots and prove that Tara was in on the plot. Only Summer and Mrs. Locke know what was said during their last conversation and one of them will have to spill. Phyllis, Nick, Kyle, and Jack will be shocked to know that Tara used her son to get her way.

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS viewers know that Harrison's mom threatened to leave town and never allow Kyle to see his son again unless Summer took the Milan job offer. This is going to be one of the most bright and shiny moments for Phyllis. She held on to her gut instinct in spite of o one believing her. She knew her daughter had been wronged and was determined to avenge her. Michelle Stafford fans are so excited to see her giving this storyline all that she has got and are hoping Phyllis does not fizzle out once this is over.

There still has been no official word from Hunter King or anyone at THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS regarding her exit. Spoilers have revealed that she will soon appologize to Kyle. Perhaps it will be for allowing Tara to manipulate her and not trusting in his love. Whatever happens. next viewers know that the entire truth is soon going to be revealed and Phyllis will get most of the credit. She and Billy were supposed to work together and then spoilers suggested that Nikki could get her granddaughter to open up about why she left Genoa City.

Nick is supposed to somehow be involved in the final takedown but it was Phyllis Summers who got the selfie that is worth a thousand words so stay tuned to find out how she finally gets to say checkmate. By the time she is through Sally will not only have lost he reputation and a possible romance with Jack but Lauren might fire her. THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS spoilers have not revealed the fate of Tara and Harrison and some viewers are hoping it turns out that Kyle is not the boy's father.
