Logan finds out he has an interesting trait courtesy of his Asperger’s

Logan wasn't the biggest fan of Disney films Roman made them all watch, well, with the exception of the ones that focused on sci-fi, the Star Wars films, and whatever he can watch while wearing the red camera-tinted glasses courtesy of the Film Theorists. He often wished that Roman knew that there can be such a thing as "too much of a good thing" and his discovery while working proved it.

One evening, he was going over Thomas's productivity and took breaks to read a chapter or two of one of his books. Without much thought, what was audible grumbling turned into muttering dialogue from "The Tigger Movie" even though it's been 8 and a half months since Roman forced them all to watch it. As soon as Logan took notice, he stopped and looked around with the belief that Roman was somehow involved. He checked Roman's room and confirmed he was asleep. On the way back to his own room, he was muttering the dialogue again and was more curious than frustrated. He wasn't sure if what he was doing was because of the Asperger's or because of something else, so, with a focus on the former, he looked into some videos from The Aspie World and stumbled some traits he never really knew about. One trait that caught his attention was called "echolalia", a label given to the habit of repetition of someone else's words. Although it made sense for Logan, he wasn't sure if it was the case since it was the first time he had experienced it.

Pretty soon, though, not only did he find himself reciting other films from memory under his breath, but he found himself reciting "Doctor Who" episodes and episodes of "Sherlock". He was also caught reciting videos by MatPat, but everyone else just thought it was just Logan analyzing data. He accepted the trait as a part of Asperger's, therefore a part of himself. However, he felt embarrassed thinking about how everyone else might react, so he just kept his discovery to himself.

During another movie night, Roman was holding Deceit's hat and swirling the pieces of paper in it with his hand with the intention of rigging the votes in his favor. As soon as Roman declared that "100% of the votes went to 'Toy Story'" and he made a joke about Seamus Gorman, Logan felt angry until he decided to get some mild revenge.

"Don't you think we've watched this movie enough?" Logan asked Roman.

"When it comes to Disney, enough is never enough!" Roman declared.

Logan rolled his eyes and started to recite "Toy Story" word for word, which shocked the other Sides. He got to "Toss him overboard!" before Roman stopped him.

"Okay, fine! What about 'An Extremely Goofy Movie'?" Roman asked.

Logan recited up to the part where Goofy gets a date with the librarian before stopped by the thespian.

"What about 'Dumbo'?" Roman suggested.

As Logan took in a deep breath, Roman stopped him before he could even begin.

"Fine! You pick!" Roman declared while defeated.

"Hmm, I have a feeling we haven't watched 'Dr. Strange' enough," Logan decided.

As they were watching the movie, he felt his phone buzz with a notification of a text from Virgil.

How did you do that?

What exactly?

Quoting those movies without...being Roman.

It's called echolalia. I muttered movies and then some under my breath for the past several months and came to terms with having this trait. I hope you can still take me seriously.

Hey, I respect anything that can annoy Princey without harming anyone. Thanks for having us watch something a little different.

Well, you know me. ;)
