Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are just days away from the release of Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness and the anticipation couldn’t be higher. As a Marvel fanatic myself, I have a feeling that this film may end up being the most groundbreaking Marvel film to date.

Of course we have all heard this line before. There is always a big movie buff or movie critic who claims that the newest highly anticipated film is going to be the biggest movie ever and how no one will ever forget it and truth be told the movie buff is right most of the time. As the listener we kind of forget how right these types of depictions are because they happen very often, but that does not stop them from being true.

As a big fan of the MCU I remember the opening nights of Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. These were undoubtedly the most packed nights at a movie theater I have ever seen for Marvel releases. I always thought to myself in the short time after these movies came out that there will be more impactful Marvel films in the future, but none quite like these. I would later be proven wrong with the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Beyond bringing the ensemble characters of the same universe together, No Way Home was able to break new ground and match the impact of the former releases by bringing together an ensemble of characters from different universes, which many would have determined as unlikely beforehand, but with No Way Home having pulled off such a magic trick, the MCU has now been able to recreate the impact of its past biggest releases.

With The Multiverse Of Madness just days away from theaters, fans are already expecting another multiversal crossover of a potentially bigger magnitude than No Way Home. The reason why such a concept would hit a high note is because like No Way Home , Multiverse of Madness will likely bring together other popular Marvel characters from outside the MCU who are loved by fans, as well as characters who were already in the MCU in another universal form. It is safe to say that if such measures are going to be experienced then Marvel Fans from all over are in for a treat.

In the Multiverse of Madness’s debut trailer, fans were given a visual of both Dr. Strange and Wanda “Scarlet Witch” Maximoff in evil dual forms of their original selves. Fans were also given an audio revelation of actor Patrick Stewart’s voice toward the trailers end. Stewart, who was previously known for being a big name Marvel actor outside of the MCU as Professor Charles Xavier in the X-Men series has now sparked speculation of the X-Men’s arrival in the MCU, given Disney studios acquiring of the X-Men characters who were previously owned by Fox Studios.

If characters such as the X-Men, who had previously been outside of the MCU realm are finally making appearances, then it is possible that other Marvel characters from non-MCU Marvel films such as Daredevil (2004), The Fantastic Four (2005), or Ghost Rider (2007) may also make appearances in Multiverse of Madness. Though not as successful as the Marvel Cinematic Universe, these pre-MCU films were successful for their time, with large supporting fan bases. I remember being a pre-teen and teenager when most of these Marvel films came out and watching everyone be excited for their releases in the same way that everyone awaits an MCU release nowadays. If these pre-MCU films are now being throw into the universal mix of present day Marvel with their given cult status, then Multiverse of Madness will once again be another MCU release that will rock the world.
