Do You Get My Vibe: Legendary Comic Book Writer Sterling Gates Joins 'The Flash' Writing Team
Sterling Gates has joined The Flash's writing team.
Any voracious comic book reader knows the name Sterling Gates. Not only did the prolific writer contribute to the Superman: New Krypton story arc, he took over the full-time writing duties for Supergirl in 2008 — and he was one of the writers behind Justice League of America'sVibe.
That last fact should excite Arrowverse fans, because Sterling Gates has joined The Flash's writing team.
When The Flash returns, Barry Allen will still be trapped in the Speed Force, but crime hasn't stopped in Central City. With the Fastest Man Alive gone, Team Flash will need another superhero in leather, and even Gypsy knew Vibe had much more potential. So who better to shape Cisco Ramon into a more powerful metahuman than the writer who ... well ... wrote him?
The New York Times bestselling comic book creator tweeted his excitement earlier this month, but he can't be half as excited as we are at the possibilities now that he is officially a member of the writing staff.
Whatever plans the writing team already had in store for fans this season will only get better thanks to the addition of Sterling Gates. We can't wait to see what he brings to the characters and the storyline!
