What shows to expect on Disney Plus

Disney + because they can

Now, that streaming videos and shows is more popular than watching actual television, big companies such as Disney have found that they can make more money. It is true they can and they will, for I myself will fall to be a victim of getting Disney+ after it launches. On November 12, 2019 it will launch and the starting price will be $8.99 and I am assuming those are in USD. Here are some shows that will appear on Disney+.

1. 'High School Musical: The Series'

Yes, I remember when the movies first came out and Zac Efron is all young junior high school students could talk about. The songs were sung out loud and now they have created a series. However, the series will have new characters and young actors. The idea of High School Musical: The Series is about the school where high school musical the movies were shot in and now the students that go there have a shot to audition for their new spring musical called, High School Musical: The Musical. Of course it would not be High School Musical without a little romance, so a boy that lost a girl wants to get his girl back, who is now dating a hunk from the basketball team...

2. 'Monsters at Work'

Remember Monsters Inc and what a great movie that was? Yeah, well, now they are making a show about it. It will not be on Disney plus until 2020, so it is still a little bit away. The characters will remain the same, but of course there will be fun little adventures that the monsters go on and it all happens at... you guessed it! At work. That is all I know so far.

3. 'Star Wars'? Obi-Wan Kenobi? Not 'Clone Wars'?

Yes, apparently Disney is now making a series about Obi-Wan Kenobi, it is still not titled, but rumor has it Ewan McGregor will be playing the role. I just hope it will be good.

4. More 'Star Wars' you say?

Yes, there is more Star Wars. The new series is titled The Mandalorian. Apparently that show is about a lone ranger or a bounty hunter, whichever you choose to call it. For some children it might be a little bit on the darker side. However, it looks absolutely amazing.

5. 'Diary of a Female President'

If your little girls need a good role model for them, this may be the show to watch. It is about a girl in high school, who is on the journey to become a president of the united states and hopefully she gets there. The star of the show is the now Jane the Virgin on the Netflix series. Disney can steal more than their movies back.

6. 'What if?'

An animated show, they take comic books and change one little element in the comic and then they write how it would turn out. This is a Marvel show and it's the first time that Marvel will be doing something like this.

7. 'The Falcon and the Winter Solider'

I am not entirely sure of what the show will entail, but it should be pretty great considering it is Marvel.

8. 'Loki'

Yes, there is finally going to be a show about Loki the god of mischief. Tom Hiddelstone will be playing the role because anyone else would be wrong.

9. 'The Vision and Scarlet Witch'

According the screenrant.com: "This show actually gets its title from two Marvel Comics series from the 1980s. Before that, the two characters had already established what is now one of the longest-lasting relationships in Marvel's comic history. After both their deaths in Infinity War, it will be interesting to see if the series will be set after some kind of post-Endgame resurrection, or in the past."

So if this is real then it would be amazing.

10. 'Hawkeye'

It is about time that Hawkeye has his own franchise. As one of my favorite characters in Marvel, they are finally going to give him the praise that he deserves. However, they may make it into a movie, but Disney and Marvel might want to keep it as a show to keep up the hype.

So far that is all the info I have about the shows that will be streaming. Now for movies. Netflix now has all the Marvel movies, however since Marvel is partners with Disney, all the movies will be removed from Netflix and put onto Disney+ the nice thing about it is that all the movies will be on it, but that means you might need to pull out your wallet.
