Deathly Hallows

This is the story of the Deathly Hallows which in The Tale of Beatle the Bard the story “The Tale of the Three Brothers” is where the Deathly Hallows are explained. There is nothing better than walking down a path in the woods with your brothers. That is what these brothers were doing on what they thought was a normal day. Now, these brothers were grown they weren’t children so they were fine. They came to a river that they couldn’t cross without a bridge so they took out their wands and created a bridge so they could cross the river.

Death appeared feeling cheated because usually, tourists died in the river, but Death decided to act like he was happy. He told the brothers that he would congratulate them with gifts of their choosing. The oldest brother went first he told Death that he wanted a wand that would defeat anyone. He was a combative man who liked to duel. Death went to a nearby Elder tree and created a wand that would defeat anyone and would let its master win. This wand will later be known as the Elder Wand.

Next, it was the second brother’s turn and he was an arrogant man who wanted to see his loved one again. That is exactly what he told Death that he wanted an object that calls people back from the dead. Death picked up a stone that was in the river and gave it to the brother. This stone was later known as the Resurrection Stone.

Last was the third brother who was the smartest of the brothers and knew what Death was up to, so he told Death he wanted something that would hide him from Death as he journeyed on through life. Death gave him his very own Invisibility Cloak which is what it is known as today. It is one of the only Hallows that was passed down through the family.

The next day the first brother used the Elder Wand and bragged about the Wand. That night someone took the wand and for good measures killed the brother. The second brother turned the stone three times and his long love appeared in ghost form but she soon became sad, because she wasn’t in her world. He killed himself so that he could be with her. The third brother lived a full life being under the Invisibility Cloak hidden from Death. When he passed it on to his son he greeted Death like an old friend.

This was my summed up story of “The Tale of the Three Brothers” which is a good story to read even though it has death in the story. The story teaches us not to be greedy because if you are it is likely that it won’t go well for you in life. When you are nice and humble your life will be better and you will live a full life. The Deathly Hallows if you are the master of all of them then you are the master of death, but that isn’t always a good thing when you think about I mean we all die when it is our time to die. This story is inspirational and we can learn a lot from these historical figures’ mistakes.
