Plot

The Korean drama "Day of Kidnapping" is a heart-wrenching tale of love, desperation, and tragedy. At the center of the plot is Kim Myung-Joon, a poor man with a kind heart who is struggling to save his sick daughter. When his ex-wife offers him a kidnapping job, he reluctantly accepts, hoping to earn the money he needs for his daughter's medical treatment.

As Kim Myung-Joon sets out to kidnap 11-year-old Choi Ro-Hee, fate intervenes, and he accidentally hits the young girl with his car. The accident leaves Choi Ro-Hee with amnesia, and Kim Myung-Joon takes her to his home, where she begins to live with him, believing him to be her father.

As Kim Myung-Joon grapples with the moral implications of his actions, he tries to contact Choi Ro-Hee's parents to return her to them, but they don't answer his calls. When he finally goes to their home, he witnesses a horrifying scene that will change the course of his life and that of Choi Ro-Hee's forever.

The emotional drama unfolds as Kim Myung-Joon and Choi Ro-Hee find themselves in a difficult situation that tests their moral compass and forces them to confront their past mistakes. "Day of Kidnapping" is a powerful story that explores the depths of human emotions and the lengths to which people will go for love and survival. With a talented cast, including Yoon Kye-Sang, the drama promises to be a gripping and emotional journey for viewers.

Park Sung Hoon, who has previously acted in "The Glory," will play detective Park Sang Yoon, who is on the trail of Kim Myung Joon. His quick judgment and analytical skills land him in the middle of the abduction case, and as he gets closer to the truth, he finds himself facing an unexpected secret.

Yoo Na, known for her work in "Pachinko," will take on the role of Choi Ro Hee, the genius girl who has lost her memories. Despite her young age, Choi Ro Hee possesses a cynical yet exceptional mind and will overcome various crises while forming a strange bond with Kim Myung Joon.

Kim Shin Rok will play the role of Kim Myung Joon's ex-wife, Seo Hye Eun. She left Kim Myung Joon three years ago and is the person who proposes that he abduct Choi Ro Hee upon his return. Kim Sang Ho will play security company employee Park Chul Won, Seo Jae Hee will play neurosurgeon Mo Eun Sun, and Kang Young Seok will play fund manager Jayden.

The production team has promised a new type of entertainment with the unique and off-the-wall combination of a clumsy kidnapper and a genius girl. Viewers can anticipate laughter, touching moments, and a great synergy between the actors.

The upcoming drama is highly anticipated by fans, who are excited to see the cast bring these complex characters to life. The drama promises to be a refreshing change from the usual fare, with its unique story and cast. "Day of Kidnapping" is set to be a must-watch drama of 2023.
