Code 8 Part 2 Review

Today, the awaited sequel, Part 2 of the Code 8 movie, has finally landed on Netflix. I just wrapped up watching it. A couple of years ago, I penned down my thoughts on Part 1 when I was running my own individual entertainment blog. If you haven't caught Part 1 yet, it's available for free on YouTube.

For us, the Hindi-speaking audience, there's a unique joy in consuming content in our mother tongue. It's not that we find other languages boring, but there's an undeniable sense of familiarity and enjoyment that comes with content in Hindi.

That's why I enjoyed this movie in Hindi. If you haven't seen Part 1 yet, you can catch it on YouTube without spending a penny. Happy watching!

There is not much to say about this movie; I will just tell you that if you like watching science fiction movies, especially average ones, then you can definitely check out the content of this picture.

People who like the world of science fiction and don't get too into the story and character development can definitely check out this picture to pass the time.

And the same thing happens with Part 2, which also comes in the same category of average, in which the Amell brothers are seen again, but this time there is a bad cop in front of them and whose bad dog is robotic.

A dangerous murder takes place, and there is a girl who witnesses that murder. You will have to watch this picture to know what the super heroes are going to do with that girl.

Code 8 Part 2 Review

The concept shown in the world of this picture is interesting, but the depth that it should have, unfortunately, was not seen in Part 1, so I had hope from within that when Part 2 of this movie comes, there might be character development. And the things that have happened in its world with super hero powers, these people will at least try to explain it, but sorry to say, the makers did nothing else in the entire show except pooping.

Code 8 Part 2 just dropped, and it brought a new rescue mission into the mix. Towards the end, the superheroes did their thing and saved the day with some clever tricks. However, I couldn't shake the feeling that the sequel didn't bring anything fresh or original to the table. Moreover, it didn't address the lingering questions from Part 1.

In the first installment, we got a glimpse of how people acquired their superpowers and a bit about the characters' backgrounds. Surprisingly, Part 2 didn't delve into these aspects at all. I was anticipating some much-needed development in these areas, but the sequel didn't provide it.

I went into Part 2 with the expectation that it would unfold the story and answer some burning questions, but it seems the creators had a different agenda.

Action was also very limited in Part 2, more of it was seen in Part 1, but definitely I would like to praise that whatever slow motion is seen is electric, which is well picturized.

Conclusion

Overall, if you have seen the Code 8 movie, then go watch Part 2 with very low expectations and for time-pass purposes.

If you have not seen the Code 8 movie, then I highly recommend that you watch the first part of Code 8 after watching its second installment; otherwise, things will go over your head.
