Its Sunday!! The best thing I think about Sunday in isolation is that it is now completely acceptable to stay in my pjs and binge on Netflix all day. So for today I thought my article should be about what TV series I recommend and what I am super excited to see next.

Lucifer – On Netflix. The series revolves around Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis), the Devil, who abandons Hell for Los Angeles where he runs his own nightclub and becomes a consultant to the LAPD. This super sexy twist to the old story of the devil. He heads LA to have a holiday from Hell, and after a series of events ends up working with a sexy lady cop solving crimes together. Sounds cheesy and it totally is but in all the best ways, who doesn’t love a bit of Tom Ellis on their Screen. With 4 seasons so far and a 5th season on the way, this is a great way to spend Sunday afternoons.

The Bold Type –Amazon prime. a glimpse into the outrageous lives of those responsible for the global woman’s magazine Scarlet. I absolutely loved this series, total girl power and great friendship and laughs, its sex in the city for millennials everyone I have recommended this to have loved it. Hits hard topics and is totally inspirational.

The Marvellous Mrs Maisel – on Amazon prime. The Marvellous Mrs. Maisel centres on Miriam "Midge" Maisel, a sunny, energetic, sharp, Jewish girl who has her perfect life turned upside down and accidently finds out she is a great stand-up comic in a time that isn’t too sure if they are ready for her. Lovely heart felt and very funny with great actors and quick talking comedic.

Always a Witch –On Netflix. I loved this series when it first came out and was so glad to have a season 2 made available recently. The plot revolves around Carmen Eguiluz, a witch and slave from 1646, and is set both in the 17th-century and present-day Cartagena, Colombia. She is about to be burnt at the stake in 1646 because she practises witch craft, but some one had other ideas and she is sent to present day on a quest to save her true love. Great story about friendship and loyalty with magic sprinkled throughout.

Shows im looking to watch in the next few weeks.

The Capture (recommended by my mum) on BBC Iplayer – this mini series is a classic girl meets boy, gets a strange twist. As boy gets woken up by the cops the next morning being blamed for her murder, this did he, didn’t he, looks amazing and I can’t wait to watch.

Letters to the King on Netflix I have seen adverts for this and it looks amazing, I cannot wait to see it, I love tales of knights and horses and glory, and have been obsessed with them ever since I was a child reading about King Arthur. This tale based on a Dutch book, and looks just my cuppa tea.

So sit back and relax these networks have our back with some great series to help us step in to worlds outside our apartments.
