Bilingual Film And Television Actress, Ellie Patrikios, Tells Us What It's Like to Live in Hollywood, The Entertainment Capital Of The World
Ellie Patrikios
We get an insight on some of her up-and coming films!!
As a creative talent, who works as an actress full-time, she finds it absolutely enchanting to be situated in a city so diverse and full of life. She loves how active of an industry this is, a production is always taking place, whether it’s around the corner of where you live, in the studios, or somewhere on the other side of the valley. With countless opportunities, we are situated amongst the greatest writers, directors, producers, actors and all around creatives, with the best technology, creating constant content. She loves that she can meet so many unique people, from around the globe, striving for the same dream with their own incredible story to tell. It’s amazing to see people strive for what they love. She finds herself going out daily for auditions, table reads, screen tests, self tapes with a great team behind her.
This year alone she booked an international and national commercial spot for Hotels.com, driving away with a lead role in “The Thermal Club” a prestige club for racers, where she gets to challenge the best to a race on the track. I then flew out to Tennessee after booking a lead role in The Marcus King Band’s music video “Goodbye Carolina”. Coming back to an athletic sprint for a lead in Mobot Inc’s campaign and Christmas commercial, to an autobiographical role playing ballerina, Vera Fredova in Vlad Kozlov's masterpiece "Silent Life" (Starring Terry Moore, Sherilyn Fenn, Isabella Rossellini, Jack Osbourne), acting opposite Chad Doreck, (Hollywood, Nicktoons, The Pretender) who plays Theodore Kozloff. Then she booked the role of my dreams in an American Widescreen Pictures LLC feature film by award winning Italian Director, Stefano Milla called “The Soul Eater”. I play a borderline forensic photographer, Kate Roberts, which is by far the most challenging role she have ever played…”
First off, her character Kate has lived through extraordinarily horrific circumstances in which have engraved deep scars. She has lost her son, who was only 6 years old, and is living in a putrid “survivors guilt”. There is so much action involved in this film, and guns, she had to go to a shooting range to learn how to shoot the type of gun she would be holding as a ‘prop-gun’ so that I could understand the weight, and feel the re-coil for my performance to be truthful. It has been a phenomenal journey filming this feature so far. She wakes up to having my makeup done by legend Myke Michaels (Stranger Things, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2, Taken 3, Master And Commander: The Far Side Of The World) who she has adopted into her family. He always makes everyone laugh on set. The team is absolutely incredible, and she loves the Italians, being that Greece and Italy are neighboring countries we have a lot of banter on set. It has been enlightening and a highlight of my life working with Stefano Milla who is just such a kickass director! I have enjoyed working with my co-stars Jason R. Moore (The Punisher, Kings, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice), Scott Engrotti (Scorpion, The Boatman, The Pretty One, Mayday) and Alexa Khann (The Steed, A World Away 3RipleB). The cast consists of huge talent and the story has been filmed in two parallel universes, from the 1800’s, filmed in Turin Italy, to present day filmed in Los Angeles, CA. Other cast members, who were filmed in Italy include; Mishaël Lopes Cardozo playing Edgar Ramus (Game Of Thrones, Vikings, Redbad) Justin Welborn playing Cesare Lombroso (Justified, The Final Destination, Godless). I can’t tell you much more than this because we’re still currently in production.
Both the "Soul Eater" and "Silent Life" coming out on the big screen by 2021!
The opportunities come around daily for everyone. She has made so many friends here, a lot of whom are pursuing the same dream. What she loves is working together with those people and developing their own ideas into short films or feature length scripts. Another thing that is really fun is the festivals and the collaborative nature, the drive in theaters, jaw- dropping street art, incredible weather forecast energizing us with creative motivation that is Hollywood.
