The Bigbrother Naija reality tv show started in the year 2006, the reality show brings together different people from different works and walks of life all coming together under one roof.

The show rewards each winner with various prices and compensations. In as much as there will be just one winner after the show, the rest of the housemates are rewarded for different tasks completions and many more.

The show houses a specific number of people, and this depends on the organizers of the show, both sexes must co-habit and mingle for a period of three months. No phones or communication with the outside world is allowed during the period of the show.

The individuals are regarded as housemates and they are governed by a head called "Big Brother", Big brother governs and makes decisions in the house, and all housemates are meant to follow his orders. I'm sure "Big brother" has he is fondly called is a "He" with his deep bass voice emitting power and authority.

The Bigbrother Naija reality show is watched by millions all over every part of Africa and it streams 24/7 on the DSTV cable network.

Bbnaija housemates are always reminded that they are in the house to play a game and that it all depends on how well they can play, which of course determine who will win at the end of the show. They get different tasks on a daily basis which helps them stay active and creative. Tasks like stage performances, painting, writing, singing, and many more.

Never trust anyone in the Bigbrother house, that is a piece of advice you might want to consider if peradventure you want to give it a try the next coming season. Trust isn't the order of the game in the Bigbrother house has different times and moments warrants some difficult decisions. The most intriguing part of activities in the house is the time when Bigbrother calls the housemates in for nomination. The housemates are compelled to choose the name or names of their fellow housemates, these housemates will then be up for eviction. This is the part when advice earlier comers into play. You will discover the housemate's choices of nomination and it will blow your mind at what you'll discover, remember it is a game.

A lot of mixed feelings take place while in the house. Housemates catch feelings for each other, love-birds emerge and you will be surprised at how all will turn out. They sometimes portray their emotions and feelings and you cannot but wonder if they were couples before they got into the house.

Bbnaija brings with it different slang and slogans every year. For example, you'll see slang like "Double wahala" "Shine your eyes" etc. Each year comes with its own side attractions and fun and most times the slogans depict what the show will look like.

The show won't be interesting without some exhibition from the housemates, exhibitions like the show of annoyance, anger, arguments. This is bound to happen because they all come from different backgrounds, beliefs, and races. What is good for one might not be good for the other, by so it leads to fighting and arguments, this is however contained by the rules and regulations governing the Bigbrother house. There are laws and regulations to be followed by housemates, words, and actions they are to do and what they are not meant to do. Failure to comply with the Bigbrother rules and regulations tend to warrant some punishments. Some punishments are direful as it sometimes warrants disqualification of the housemates.

No matter who you are, It doesn't matter where you are from, once you get into the Bigbrother house everyone is the same. No hierarchy except the head of house who is crowned after winning the Monday night games. He/She is also exempted from possible eviction of the week. Do not forget it is a game of luck.
