Anthracite Netflix Review

Yesterday, three to four contents were released on Netflix, of which I just watched one. The name of the show is Anthracite, which is a French mystery survival thriller.

If you like watching mystery thrillers, a series whose hook is very strong and you get excited to know what is going on in its world, then definitely the content of this series can be useful for you.

So look, if we talk about basic details, then to watch this series completely, you will have to go through a total of six episodes, and this is a limited series.

For Hindi-speaking audiences like me, this series is also available in Hindi, so do not take tension at all, and Hindi dubbing is quite good.

But here you can take a small tension that if you prefer watching web series or movies with your family, then you cannot watch them. There are two big reasons:

In this show, you will get to see a lot of nudity and those types of scenes that we all have seen in those movies at some point in time where we get lost in their antics and want to enter them through the portal.

Did you understand or not? There is no need to be too innocent about which films I am talking about; tell me in the comments.

Second, there is a delivery scene in Episode 5 when a mother gives birth to her child.

Now you will get thrills from these things, but you will feel uncomfortable if you follow all this with family.

Before coming to what is good and what is bad in this show, let me give you a little idea of the story.

Story

So see, the story is set in a town where the main protagonist is searching for his mother's murderer, and on the other hand, the lead actress is searching for her father. Her father has been kidnapped by someone.

At the same time, one-by-one murders are happening in that town, and all the murders that are happening have a connection with a cult group that used to exist in 1994.

So who has returned from 1994 and is killing people? Why is he killing, and how are both leads trapped? You will have to watch this show to find out all this.

Now, if I were to comment on this show, I would only say that it has many shortcomings, but after removing them, if you watch this show, if you are a mystery thriller lover and you like to watch chilling mysteries, then yes, this show will become an enjoyable experience for you.

If I give you reasons, then the locations where this show has been shot are very beautiful, which means that seeing the snow- and ice-covered mountains, you are going to get lost in this show.

The story of the show travels in two timelines, 1994 or 2024, due to which things keep playing with your mind continuously, meaning confusion will arise in you while you remain engaged with the story.

There are a lot of thrilling and shocking moments that will maintain your interest in the story, and there are twists and turns in the story that will surprise a normal audience.

Actors' performance or show production quality—all this is also good.

Drawbacks

In terms of drawbacks, I will not tell you too many, which may spoil your fun, but I will still tell you one or two.

The story of this series does not present anything new or fresh to you. If you have seen many murder mysteries already, then there are some beats that will give you a familiar type of vibe, and there is nothing new in the plot.

The characters don't have much power, so when something bad happens to them, it doesn't matter at all.

Family writing was not special, due to which there are some things in the last portion that will confuse you.

Conclusion

Now, keeping these problems aside, I just tell you that if you want to go on a chilling mystery ride, even if there is not much newness in the story and the characters are not strong, if you are a mystery thriller lover, then definitely you can try this show.

This show is neither very great nor bad.

That's it.

The mystery of this show has been successful in keeping me engaged. In my opinion, this show is quite enjoyable and cute, and somehow it is a one-time-watchable mystery thriller.
