Welcome friends,

Today, let's chat about "Abraham Ozler," a new Malayalam movie that just hit Disney Plus. It's directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas, who also made the popular "Anjaam Pathiraa" movie that many of you probably watched.

After "Anjaam Pathiraa," Midhun Manuel Thomas is back in 2024 with "Abraham Ozler." In the meantime, he had given the screenplay to two other films named "Garudan" and "Phoenix." "Garudan" had a strong story, but I wasn't too impressed with "Phoenix."

Abraham Ozler Review

If you go into watching "Abraham Ozler" expecting it to match the standard set by "Anjaam Pathiraa," you might end up feeling disappointed.

According to me, Abraham Ozler is definitely a one-time-watchable film that can be watched because of his interesting storyline, but if you people are expecting some thrill and some tension, then this film is not successful in providing it.

The screenplay of this film has been written by a debutant who is professionally a doctor, and hence a medical touch will be seen everywhere in the story and characters in the film, so that's why we can also call this film a medical crime thriller. If seen from that perspective, I personally found the storyline of the film quite exciting, even if the thrill and tension in the screenplay are not visible.

But still, there was definitely something within the overall story that remains successful in creating the question of why, for what, and who can do this in the middle of the film, and hence the film may not be able to become anything extraordinary, but at least I can say that it proves to be engaging.

There are very few places in the film where there is some drag or boredom felt; otherwise, the film succeeds in engaging somewhere, and the climax of the film was also interesting. The Climax twist was surprising at the same time and gives hope that if Part 2 of the Abraham Ozler film is made, then definitely more things can be interesting or fun.

A guest appearance by megastar Mammootty is also seen in the film, and that guest appearance comes with a kind of twist, but this twist will work only for those who already know nothing about this film.

Guess what? Superstar Mammootty makes a surprise appearance in the movie! It's like a secret twist that adds some extra excitement. But here's the thing: if you already knew about it from social media before watching, it's not as exciting.

They kept Mammootty's role under wraps before the movie came out. But then, right after it hit screens, they released posters showing Mammootty's character name.

So, if you saw those posters before watching the movie, the element of surprise and enjoyment that comes with Mammootty's entry might have been lost.

Apart from this, if we look at the film, the lead characters also have an emotional back story, which, according to me, could have been presented in a better manner. Yes, it was definitely engaging to watch.

But somehow it is not able to keep us audiences connected with it emotionally in a strong way.

Conclusion

Overall, "Abraham Ozler" is a casual movie. It won't completely waste your time, but if you're looking for an extraordinary thriller, this movie might not give you that feeling.

And I would like to tell you that the Hindi dubbing of this film is big nonsense. Now why am I saying this? You yourself will find out by watching this film. The meaning is that so many mistakes in words are being seen that I would not like to say anything on them and so on.

And there is a character in the film whose specialty is that he sings songs very beautifully, but in the Hindi-dubbed version, his voice was completely muted while he was singing.

Guys, this was my review of the Malayalam film Abraham Ozler, which came on Disney Plus. I hope you enjoy this review ride. Don't forget to give me one heart.

So if, like me, you have also watched the Abraham Ozler movie, do not forget to tell us what loopholes you saw in the Hindi version, its Hindi dubbing, and how you liked the overall film.
