9 Kids That Could End up Being the Next Great Actors/Actresses in Film!

Child stars are common in Hollywood, but rarely do they actually pan out and continue to grow and become the true stars that we go to theaters to watch today. It could be for declining interest in acting or their talent just doesn't pan out, but most young actors don't make it to the big leagues of film fame.

I'v compiled a list of 9 talented actors and actresses under 18 that i believe could end up making an impact on Hollywood in the future.

9. Harley Quinn Smith

Age: 16

The daughter of director Kevin Smith, Harley Quinn Smith's film credits are scarce, but she displays a great feel for comedic acting that could make her one of the best funny women in Hollywood. So far in her career she has relied on her father to cast her in roles, but hopefully she will begin to branch out on her own merit soon.

8. Mace Coronel

Age: 12

Known for the Nickelodeon show Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn, Coronel is a very under the radar child star, but has potential. He hasn't had a lot of experience in acting, but he stands out among his other co-stars. He has charm, charisma and the comedic timing to break out of Nickelodeon in the future.

7. Bailee Madison

Age: 16

Currently Madison is in the main cast of the Hallmark series Good Witch, but most will recognize her from her role in the Adam Sandler film Just Go With It. She has shown she has the range to pull off comedy and deliver her lines on point. Her dramatic acting has promise and in time she could star in film or at the very least be a lead in a dramatic TV series.

6. Mason Cook

Age: 15

You might recognize him from Spy Kids: All the Time in the World, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone, and The Lone Ranger. Mason Cook has a lot of minor roles in shows and movies that all feature him being able to deliver lines and interact with some of the best stars in Hollywood. He carries himself very well and has a lot of potential if handled correctly. In time I think he will grow into a very capable actor in many genres of film and TV.

5. Neel Sethi

Age: 12

Sethi got his big debut in Jon Favreau's The Jungle Book playing the iconic man cub Mowgli. Sethi portrayed the character perfectly and was beyond his years in dramatic acting, and gave Mowgli an unforgettable charm. What was even more impressive about the performance was the fact that almost all of the movie was created with CGI. Sethi had to interact with models and stand behind blue screens for the movie; had to be hard for a child to act with little interaction from co-stars.

4. Jacob Tremblay

Age: 9

This young man took the world by storm in the award-nominated Room. His performance was amazing for a child. It is so hard to predict a future from someone so young, but judging by his work so far, if he continues acting past his childhood years and continues to grow and reach his potential, then he could become a house hold name.

3. Dylan Sprayberry

Age: 17

He is known for his role in Teen Wolf, but fans of the Man of Steel will recognize him as a young Clark Kent. Sprayberry has shown that he can pull off dramatic acting as well as more comedic roles. His role in Teen Wolf is expanding and he is showing he is able to develop his character and show his range.

2. Camren Bicondova

Age: 16

Gotham fans will recognize the young Selina Kyle. Bicondova is such a likable anti-hero and she gave the character a lovable charm while also keeping true to her crude nature. I am always entertained by her take on the Catwoman, and she shows amazing range to be able to play such a layered character.

Age: 14

Simpkins is already close to being a household name, as one of the most famous child stars currently with roles in Iron Man 3 and Jurassic World. Simpkins is one of those talents that always keeps you entertained and can take on any role thrown at him. He has experience in comedy, drama, action, and even horror. His range is near limitless and he is only 14! He has a high ceiling and I cannot wait to see what he does as he continues to grow.
