7 Celebrity Pranks That Went TOO FAR.

These went 0 to 100 real fast.

Earlier in the week I wrote about 7 Celebrities Who Are NOTHING Like They Seem. Because the world is always watching, celebrities are not allowed the same kind of public freedom to express the full range of their emotions, especially negative ones.

We rarely get to see our celebrities get angry, or shout, or be put in uncomfortable situations.

That’s why we love pranks.

Celebrity pranks set up extreme situations that allow us to see our favorite celebrities in a whole new light. We get to see how they react to high-tension situations especially when they believe that the cameras aren’t rolling.

Some pranks are calm and easy, but in rare cases, some pranks go too far and our favorite celebs are pushed to their limits.

Here are 7 of such extreme prank situations that went too far.

1. Davido.

Davido’s prank on The Bigger Friday Show has gathered over 700,000 views on YouTube and is by far the most popular prank on a Nigerian celebrity, especially on The Bigger Friday Show.

There’s a reason the prank became so popular. The situation escalated very quickly, and Davido went from 0 to 100 in a matter of minutes.

This prank has everything. Shouting, people getting physical, threats…it’s one prank which if you haven’t seen, you have to see.

I honestly felt so bad for the poor actor that was hired to pull the prank cuz I’m sure he for sure didn’t expect for things to get as intense as they got.

2. Brymo.

Brymo’s prank is an awful situation for any man. Couple that with the fact that he's a musician at the peak of his career, smack in the middle of the public eye, and on camera in the middle of an interview.

When a tall angry man bursts unto the set of where Brymo, Jesse Jagz and Ice Prince are having an interview, you can already see the fear in Brymo’s eyes.

Now, when the man goes ahead to accuse Brymo of impregnating his girlfriend, that’s when the real terror sets in. Brymo is shouting, angry, trying to stop cameras from shooting. In fact, things get so bad that he tries running out of the set without ever giving the pranksters a chance to let him know that he is being pranked.

It’s a really fun prank and if you haven’t seen it, you’re welcome because it’s a truly fun viewing experience.

3. Seyi Shay.

When Seyi Shay finishes conducting a radio interview, she's in high spirits and ready to answer some post-interview questions the radio station intends to use on their social media platforms.

But when the camera man excuses himself to get fresh batteries for his camera, that’s when our prankster actress swoops in to tell a lone Seyi Shay that she is the sister-in-law of Nollywood actor, OC Ukeje who Seyi kissed in one of her music videos. The actress tells Seyi Shay that the kiss she exchanged with OC has caused a problem in his marriage and as the sister of OC's wife, she is here to confront her.

Things very quickly get more interesting from there. The actress seems to get a little TOO invested in the character because she starts getting physical with Seyi’s assistant.

It’s such a fun watch, you have to see it for yourself.

4. Kizz Daniel.

When Kizz Daniel was late to an interview with Steph on the Official Naija Top 10 show, the MTV producers planned to use his lateness to prank him.

When he arrived, everybody was already pissed. The interviewer herself called Kizz Daniel out of his name multiple times. Despite Kizz’s apologies, the producers, interviewer, and crew kept going off on innocent Kizz. You can see him get so frustrated and on the verge of tears.

In fact, when he was finally told that it was all a prank, it took him some time to finally regain his composure. He wasn’t even smiling, he looked genuinely upset.

In the end, he was finally able to crack a smile and he and the interviewer both went on to have a perfectly good shoot.

5. Emma Nyra

Emma Nyra’s reaction will forever go down in history as one of the funniest ones we’ve ever seen.

When one of the producers leaves the room for a minute only to come back and see her boyfriend flirting with Emma, she goes off. Her anger goes from her boyfriend to Emma, and throughout the confrontation, all Emma Nyra can do is smile and laugh in fear. It is the funniest thing to watch. You can tell she’s visibly scared but she’s just smiling and trying to walk away.

If you want a prank that’ll make you laugh, you’re going to love this one.

6. Ayo Jay.

Ayo Jay’s just like Davido’s is one prank that quickly went from 0 to 100. When Ayo Jay's interview is interrupted by Nigerian singer, Dipp and his crew, Ayo Jay isn't having it and quickly tells them to "get out of here."

Just like that, words quickly start getting thrown, tempers flare up, and things get out of control.

Woo! Who knew Ayo Jay could switch like this?

7. Simi.

Simi’s prank starts from the middle so we’re really not sure what happens at the beginning.

What we do see though is that Simi enters into an elevator with her sister and goes down to the stage area of Rhythm Unplugged. There, two girls who she looked to be in a conflict with before she entered the elevator, come down to meet her and continue the confrontation.

They keep on calling her out of her name, shouting, towering above her, and at one point, one of them touch her, and we can see how that really gets to her. She’s cursing, upset, and ultimately she decides to leave the scene.

But it doesn’t end there. The two girls follow her out of the concert space and keep on hounding her. I swear, Simi gets this close to throwing hands 🤣.

Eventually when she’s told that it's all a prank, she runs after everyone involved and things eventually simmer down but you can still see that she’s a little bit angry. She even says it.
