6 Underground is an 'exciting' new movie that is coming to Netflix by the end of 2019 starring Ryan Reynolds! When I say it's 'exciting', I mean that is its genre! AS of right now, the only tag that Netflix has made for its new Original movie is the word “exciting.” With that said, it's safe to say that 6 Underground is going to be an action thriller.
The Plot

The film is apparently based on an original idea from Deadpool, according to writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. However, this film must be looking for the shock factor since details about the plot are being kept secret.
The Budget
6 Underground has the 'exciting' budget of 150 million USD. Ryan Reynolds is getting paid $27 million by Netflix for his time and work in 6 Underground... which makes Ryan Reynolds one of the highest-paid actors in 2019.

The Pearl by John Steinbeck
‘The Pearl’ is a well-known by under-read classic and, as a teacher, many of my students have absolutely loved it. Not just because it is short, but because it presents a storyline that is interesting and corrupting. Easy to read and easier to analyse, ‘The Pearl’ is one of Steinbeck’s hardest hitting classics with an underlying message about protecting what is actually important. By the end of the book, the reader is left defeated and believing in the wrong thing. The idealism around this book is incredible and it is so dark too. For a long while you are supporting the wrong people, thinking in the wrong way and the whole story becomes one long act of misdirection by Steinbeck to show in a ‘Monkey’s Paw’ fashion why we should never chase wealth and status.

Book Review: "How They Broke Britain" by James O'Brien
There are times when you find a really good book and think to yourself 'I'm going to savour this one'. Then there are books like this where it is still really good but instead you think 'ah, let's relive this trauma...' The showboating carousel of politics in the UK has definitely been in shambles since 2010 but the efforts of the kangaroo cabinet of the Pandemic Era definitely took the biscuit as quite possibly the worst case scenario. Brexit had not been delivered properly, a global virus was spreading quickly and the folks of the United Kingdom were trapped in their homes being led by a bumbling fool of a Prime Minister and his horrific attempts at government which mainly involved him covering up lies he'd told the previous day. In an era that will definitely turn into a case study, this book doesn't just teach us about the things we didn't know, but makes us realise how what we did know was just ridiculous.
