6 Things We'll See in Season Two of 'Umbrella Academy'

(Or 7, If They Show Us How Ben Died)

From The Umbrella Academy, A Netflix Original

Arguably one Netflix's most immediately popular shows, with most of its watchers demanding a season two only a few days after release, is The Umbrella Academy.

The show has a ton of interesting, unique, and lovable characters... there's also Luther, so we hope it'll be around for a couple more seasons. That being said, season one left didn't resolve a lot of issues, especially with ending on a cliffhanger. So here's what we need to see in season two, whenever that's released.

1. Number Five Sticking Up for Vanya

For some reason, Five trusted Vanya the most when he returned. He hoped she would help him and thought she would be the most level-headed of their siblings. Of course, by the end of the show she was the opposite of that but now we need to see more of their relationship because there's got to be a reason he chose her. She was the only one he asked for help from until he was more desperate.

And even upon realizing she was the cause of the apocalypse, we're going to see him defend her because as much as he cares about stopping the apocalypse, we know he cares about his family even more.

2. Luther's Redemption

Eww, gross, I know. I'm not saying we'll think differently of him, but depending on how much Netflix wants us to like him, they're either going to have him face a hard truth and do a lot to try and make up for his flaws, have him pretend to change and then make the same mistakes again, or straight up make another sibling be worse than Luther was to turn the tides in the fanbase.

It'll be interesting for sure because there was such a negative reaction towards his character to the point I think people are afraid to admit they liked or felt bad for him.

3. History on Reginald Hargreeves

There are sooooo many questions!! How did he know about the apocalypse? How did he know what the extent of their powers were? Like for Diego or Klaus, how did he know whether they only had one trick or multiple? Did he ever actually read Vanya's book? How was sending Luther to the moon the best thing he could do? Did he ever feel bad for Vanya or Klaus like he felt guilty about Luther?

He's gotta be an alien, or he's time travelled before, maybe he was born with a power like the siblings were?

Either way, we're going to get more answers about him in season two especially because of the next thing...

4. We'll See Them as Kids!!

I mean—maybe? The end of season one showed the siblings time travelling to try and stop the apocalypse another way, with only Five knowing the plan, and they turn into kids again.

That being said, either they're going back to when they were kids or... No that has to be it. We'll see them as kids and interacting with Reginald Hargreeves so we can get a better understand of all of their characters, as well as some more useful information.

5. The "End" of The Commission

Whoever actually runs Five's old job is going down. There's no way Five can stop the apocalypse if The Commission just keeps sending more people after them. Of course, the siblings should have a head start, but there's got to be more where that came from when it comes to the end of season one.

The Commission isn't over yet, we haven't really seen who's in charge, but now we will, and we'll happily see Five destroy them.

6. Klaus Having a Better Relationship with His Siblings

Okay, this is totally biased because I love Klaus (who doesn't??), but he and the other siblings are going to have to get better at communication and form some tighter bonds, especially if they're going back to their childhood, the root of their troubles.

Klaus and Diego, as well as Klaus and Five, had some pretty great moments in season one, but Klaus and Luther? Not at all. Not a single scene do they even smile together.

And what's with all this Allison and Vanya #sistersforever stupidity? Why do none of the brothers give two shits about Vanya, but Allison does? That's gonna change, especially because Klaus and Vanya probably have the most in common, and they could have some great screen time moments if only the writers would let them.

7. We'll See How Ben Died

And if not how he died, with them going to the past, hopefully we'll at least see him get along with his siblings. That being said, I don't want to begin to try and think about how his consciousness may, or may not, go back with them.

Wouldn't it be funny though if they went back in time and it was like a reverse Number Five scenario where Ben was the only one of the period and the other siblings were all trying to convince him they're from the future.
