These villains were either sadistic or showed no mercy to their enemies.

Game of Thrones had it’s fair share of villains that you wanted dead, but there were definitely some villains that stood out from others. These few villains were deemed to the worst of the worst, due to how vile and evil they actually were. These villains always strived for power, and they enjoyed the torture they inflicted on their enemies, not caring if the innocent were pulled into the war.

Some of these villains were even willing to harm their own family members to achieve their goals of dominance, which is definitely one of the worst things these monsters could ever do. This proves that they only care about themselves in the end, and they only see their own loved ones as pawns for the game of thrones.

  1. Littlefinger/Lord Baelish

Petyr Baelish earned the nickname, Littlefinger for a reason. This guy was known for carrying a huge amount of knowledge and gossip, to ensure that everything would always go his way, willing to play both sides if he had to. He was responsible for starting the war between the Lannisters and the Starks, when he had Jon Arryn killed, the husband of Lysa, Catelyn Stark’s sister. He convinced her that they would one day marry, but in order to take suspicion off her, she had to write a fake letter, accusing the Lannisters of murdering her husband, that led to the discovery of the incest in the Lannister family.

The war only got worse between the families, and he did whatever he could to stay alive. Then he got ahold of Sansa Stark, becoming obsessed with her, because she looked like his lost love, Catelyn Stark, who once rejected his romance. He pursues her, kills for her, and then sells her off to the Boltons, where she would endure torture at the hands of Ramsey Bolton, one of the worst villains in the show. Then toward the end of the show, he attempts to turn Sansa and Arya against each other, but the sisters see past his manipulations, and get him killed instead.

Baelish deserved his death, after destroying a good family, pulling them into the hard world of the Lannisters, including war.

  1. Cersei Lannister

Cersei Lannister is just all kinds of evil. She is a narcissist, that only cares about herself. She is the reason why Jaime fell in love with her, seducing him, to have her brother stay by her side forever. She viewed her brother as her true lover, because in her warped mind, if the Targaryens were able to marry their own family members, then she can get with her brother and have children with him. She saw Jaime as another reflection of herself, and since she only cared about herself, it makes sense why she wanted Jaime.

Cersei pretty much hated her entire family. She despised her father for always underestimating her, due to her opposite gender, hated Tyrion for getting their mother killed when she gave birth to him, and she didn’t exactly ‘love’ her brother, because she only used him whenever she wanted him, which makes this relationship even more messed up. She got her children all killed in some way, despised her enemies with a passion, willing to kill each of them to keep her position of power once she becomes queen of the Seven Kingdoms, and she was partly responsible for raising another monster, her eldest son, Joffery.

Cersei was a total monster, and I’m so glad she died in fear.

3. The Mountain/Glegor Clegane

The Mountain was one of the most vile villains in the series. He was responsible for committing the worst crimes for the Lannisters, and since the family didn’t exactly care about he did behind the scenes, he did whatever he desired with all of his victims. He eventually does get his ass beat by a fighter known as the Viper, but after he gets lucky with killing him, he is taken under surgery to save his life.

He comes back as a zombified version of the Mountain, where he does any bidding for Cersei. Plus, he also was the reason why The Hound ended up with one side of his face burned, because he suddenly wanted to harm his brother for no damn reason, proving that he was born a monster.

He does meet his end with his own brother, and they die together, falling into dragonfire during the fall of King’s Landing.

2. Joffrey Lannister

Joffrey Lannister was one of the worst kings in Game of Thrones. In the beginning of the series, he was revealed to be a whiny coward, that always hid behind his guards or even his mother to back him up in his time of need. Once Joffery is given a position of power as king, he lets this power get into his head, becoming a full on monster. He orders the death of Ned Stark, tricking everyone, including the Lannisters, a massive pour decision that extends the war among the Seven Kingdoms.

He orders the abuse of Sansa Stark, appears to despise all of his family members, including threatening his own mother with death when she slaps him over a strong accusation of Jaime being his father. He gets overly happy when more of the Starks get killed, and he is always wanting to hurt other innocent people that piss him off.

His death was definitely deserved. Watching him get poisoned was so damn satisfying, after all of the torture and death he had inflicted on so many people.

  1. Ramsey Bolton

Ramsey was probably the main villain that I wanted dead so badly. Even though Joffery was all kinds of evil, Ramsey was willing to torture his enemies in the worst ways, even by his own hands. Ramsey was the bastard son of Roose Bolton, who was given a position of power when he didn’t have an heir. Ramsey was intelligent, able to capture Winterfell, and help his father defeat other enemies, such as Stannis Baratheon. Once his position is threatened by Roose’s wife and new son, he decides to kill his entire family, including his baby brother.

Littlefinger sells Sansa Stark to Ramsey to secure the North, and he tortures poor Sansa for a long time, including Theon Greyjoy, a man who betrayed the Starks to give the approval of his family. He even dated a young woman who was just as crazy as he was, and she showed jealousy towards Sansa, even though it was pretty damn obvious that Ramsey was treating Sansa like complete shit. She decided to join in on harming Sansa, about to shoot her, to prevent Sansa from having babies with Ramsey, that led to her death at the hands of Theon.

Sansa is able to escape with Theon with Brienne of Tarth, and they arrive to Jon Snow, alerting him of Ramsey’s vile actions and his takeover of Winterfell. Jon leads an army against Ramsey, and this is where he witnesses the death of Rickon Stark, the youngest sibling of the Stark family, who had been captured by Ramsey. The bastard is eventually defeated during the fight, and he is tied up with his pet dogs.

Sansa watches at Ramsey is eaten by his dogs, and she leaves him behind with a smile on her face.

Ramsey 100% deserved his fate. He was by far the worst villain, and he NEEDED to be killed, because he was never going to stop his evil reign.

Who do you think was the worst villain in the series?
