Everyone needs a good show sometimes. If you do not have a subscription to one of the listed shows, go to soap2day.to and 9/10 the show will be on there. If you have a Roku, google cast or smart tv, all you do is download the casting app from the App Store on your phone, go to the website through that app and then you can watch WHATEVER is on that site right to your tv!

You are WELCOME!!!

1. That 70s Show

Netflix

This is an oldie but it is so funny and perfect for just passing time. It’s about a group of friends in the 70s making through life while dealing with friendship, family, drugs and fun.

2. The 100

Netflix.

With 7 seasons, you still get to the end and feel like it was not enough. This show is about the repercussions of a war radiating the earth and causing the last of those alive to have to go to space. Whenever space runs out of resources, in a last effort to survive, they decide to send 100 juveniles back to earth. This is my FAVORITE show.

3. The 4400 (THE NEW ONE)

I watch this on soap2day but it is also on CW

One day 4400 people who have been missing for years and have all gone missing at different times, in different places, reappear in a field. This show follows life for them after reappearing. It sounds weird, and it is but it is such a great watch. There is an old version too but I could not get into it. Talk about character growth and causing you to just feel so connected.

4. The After Party

Apple TV? I think. I don’t know because I watch it on soap2day.

The show switches from a reunion, an afterparty and the past. A group of people go to an after party at someone’s house (who is famous). After someone dies, each person is interrogated to find out who the killer is. Each episode is about a different person being interrogated. This show is purely comedy with Tiffany Haddish right in the middle of it.

5. Snowfall

Hulu, FX

Franklin Saint, a guy growing up in an urban neighborhood, is quickly pulled into the drug world. When I say this show gets CRAZY quick. Mr. Saint is SO SMART and just gets smarter as time passes. Whenever he is pulled into the drug world, not only is he pulled in but so is his family, friends and neighborhood. Oh and did I mention the CIA is behind almost all of it? Whewwwww!

6. All American

CW, Netflix

Okay so many people say that after a while this show stales out but I actually truly enjoy it. Spencer James, a highschool wide receiver moves to Beverly to play football. Spencer is from crenshaw so getting used to the fancy life is just the beginning of all of the drama that unfolds throughout this show. The current season that I am watching is soooooo good that I cry every episode. Personally, I feel like if you love high school based shows. This is a gem.

7. Desperate Housewives

Hulu

This show takes place in a suburban neighborhood and starts immediately with drama, the suicide of one of the neighbors. Each episode has more and more drama. It’s what I would call a modern soap opera. It’s based on the families living in the neighborhood and all of the drama that comes with them.

8. Revenge

CW, Hulu

Omg! This show is a TRUE HIDDEN GEM! After Emily’s dad is thrown in jail for terrorisn, she is out in a foster home. The show starts with Emily buying the home that her father lived in. No one knows who Emily really is but not oh boy are they going to reap the consequences they are owed. This show will have you HOOKED!! And the romance is so spicy and almost tricked me😂😭

9. Temptation Island

Soap2day

I love dating shows and reality tv, but even if you are not a fan of them, this one may catch your eye. This show is about couples who have been together for years and now find themselves at a crossroads of whether or not they should stay together. These couples come onto the show and live in a house with 12 singles of the opposite sex. They “date” then while not being able to see their partner and decide in the end if they will continue their relationship, start a new one with someone else or leave alone.

10. The White Lotus

A family goes on vacation to a resort and well… I thought the drama would be strictly about the family BUT… this island and the other people there are even worst than the family! From the dramatic, bad ass kids to the drug and sex addict hotel manager, this show is chaotic from jump! Each episode ends with you ready to watch the next.

11. Euphoria

After Rue’s father died, she fell into drugs and well the show is about the true life of recovery and all of the people around her. This show has great character development and surprisingly… comedy. The only thing you should prepare yourself for is the amount of nudity and blunt commentary in the show. Euphoria is not for the weak and can be very emotionally heavy but if you are looking for a show to truly connect with… if you have ever been through something traumatic and didn’t know if you would ever recover… this is the show for you!!

12. Are You The One

MTV, Hulu, Netflix

This is probably my favorite dating show. It’s about 22 singles, 11 girls and 11 boys who are put in a home together and are tasked with finding their “perfect match”. If by the last week, everyone figures out who their perfect match is, they win 1 million dollars. It sounds simple but imagine falling in love with someone and then going into the truth booth to find out.. oh no this is not my match! So therefor you have to explore other relationships. Would you be able to move on? More importantly, would you be able to live in the same house as someone you love exploring love with someone else? Oh yeah, this show is messy as hell!!!

13. How I Met Your Mother

Hulu

This is an oldie that I recently watched and fell in love with. It’s simply about a father telling his kids the story of how he met their mother. Sounds like a short story but there are actually multiple seasons and I was tricked many times into thinking the mother was one person and didn’t find out until the very end who it actually was. This show is full of comedy, drama and life lessons. As the characters develop, you find yourself developing too.

14. The Woman Across the Street from the Girl in the Window

Netflix

This short series is about a woman who lives in her home alone. One day while drinking wine and looking out the window at her neighbor, she see’s his girlfriend murdered in their living room. Not knowing what to do, she calls the police and well… lawdddddd every twist and turn after will have you like who killed her, did she even die, what is going on and why. The ending is probably the biggest and weirdest plot twist ever. I’m excited for the next season.

15. The Purge (the series)

Hulu

I’m a fan of the purge movies but honestly I didn’t realize, until watching the series that this type of plot works better in a television show. They were able to truly break the night down and show many different people and what they had going on. Same plot just deeper issues and allows you the chance to really get hooked into what people have going on beyond the actual purge night. When watching the movie we get so focused on purge night that we forget these people had lives before this night and if they live, they still have to go on. This show reminds you of that.

16. CHUCKY (the series)

Sci-Fy

Okay so this isn’t the BEST show but it is a decent watch. Lmao. I find it funny because it’s one of those things like… is this really happening? A lot of the characters are very aggravating and not likable, but in a way that makes you keep watching just to figure out what dumb or chaotic decision they will make next.

17. Scream (the series)

MTV, Netflix

Scream movies have always been in my top five favorite franchises although the same thing happens over and over to different people for different reasons. Maybe that alone makes me a little bias but the show truly is good. It’s not as predictable and just like the purge, it allows you to be able to dig deeper and connect more with the characters in the plot.

18. Wild N Out

MTV

This is simply a show that is good to watch when passing time or whenever you are doing something and want something light in the background. Two teams go head to head in a comedy battle on stage in front of a crowd. Nick Cannon, the host of the show brings in a celebrity or two or six every episode and assigns them captain of a team. Majority of it is funny and will give you a good laugh if needed.

19. Girl Code/Guy Code

MTV

This show another simple show like wild n out that is good for the background noise or whenever there is simply nothing else to watch. They go over different things that are considered “girl code” or “guy code”. For example they may say “rule #78 never steal your roommates clothes without telling her” or something like that and then go over different examples dealing with that. It’s actually pretty funny and relatable

20. 24

Hulu

Each season is about the chaos of everything happening in 24 hours. An hour of the day is dedicated to each episode, which means you get to really dig into everything going on.

21. The Fosters

Netflix, Hulu, ABC

Two foster kids, Cali and Jude move into a home where two foster kids already live. After moving from home to home, these two find themselves having to adjust in more ways than one. This show will have you laughing and crying at the same time.

22. The Unit

This show is about a special ops group. I watched it a while back and it was really good but honestly if you’re into things like this, it’s worth the watch. It’s not really my catagory of favorites but for those that enjoy things such as this, it might be the show for you.

23. Crisis

On the way to a field trip, a bus full of kids is stopped and kidnapped by a group of people. This show is the definition of what the hell. Everything that happened had me like is this really happening? Right when I thought I knew why what was going on, was going on, I found out the truth.

24. Behind her Eyes

Netflix

This show is the worlds best plot twist. I remember watching and the entire time, just wondering like……? What the actual hell is going on. A husband and wife move to a new town where the husband meets a lady. The wife is not so happy about this. Just remember, everything is not what it seems.

25. Blindspot

Hulu

A woman is found in the middle of the street in New York. She has no idea who she is and how she got there but what’s even crazier is, she is covered in tattoos that symbolize different government crimes and criminals. Whew. A very good watch.

26. Bridgerton

Netflix

I am not usually into anything based on older times but something about this show really has me hooked. I appreciate the approach to romance that this show took. Not only romance but showing us how societal influence has been such a big deal for sooooo long and how it can really affect how we view and love ourselves. I have watched this show at least 6 times.

27. Riverdale

Netflix, CW

In the small town of Riverdale, things take a very big turn whenever a teenager from the highschool goes missing. Although everything in the show starts with this, this incident is just the first of many for Riverdale. From Archie to Betty to Veronica and even Jugghead, things are definitely going to get worst… and worst… worst… before they get better.

28. Ozark

Netflix

An average Joe guy gets roped into the drug game and well… let’s just say his family gets roped right into it too.

29. Squid Games

Netflix

This show took me a while to watch but it was actually decent. It’s a good binge for a movie night. People from all over their area are invited to a play a game. However, they did not know that although winning results in millions of dollars, the outcome of losing is death. Is it worth it?

30. Blacklist

Netflix

Reddington has to be bad ass of the year since this show came out. He is a criminal helping the FBI take down other criminals. In return they basically stay off his back as long as he doesn’t cross any lines. The FBI had no idea that being tied up with a criminal would also make them cross a couple of lines. The way everything in this show becomes connected overtime is insane.

32. I know what you did last summer

Amazon

This show is based off of the movie but in my opinion, it is much better. The plot twist in the ending was perfect for me because it was not at all what I expected. Not only that, but the way it ended makes me ready for season two. Twins eh? Good add in.

33. Black Mirror

Netflix

This show is sort of like putting every conspiracy from your head on paper and then making a show out of it. Not only conspiracies but ideas of how life could be one day… but in all of the worst and weirdest ways. It is definitely interesting that is for sure. However, I skip around episodes. Every episode won’t catch everyone’s eye because each episode is about a different plot with completely different people and situations.

34. Big Sky

Hulu

After two girls go missing in a small town, a cop, his ex and his current lover go on the search to find them. This is all I can say.

35. Manifest

Netflix

I’m speaking about the new manifest, not the old on. After going on vacation, a plane of however many people come back home. However, when they land, they find out that they have been gone and declared missing or presumed dead for years. This show is not just about fitting back into a life that has completely changed but figuring out what the hell actually happened.

36. American Horror Story

Netflix, Hulu

Each season of this show has a different plot. I would say that not each season will be for Everyone but if you like scary and entertaining things, this is for you. The first season starts off slow but once it takes off, you are hooked for sure.

37. Sistas

BET

I am not usually a fan of Tyler Perry tv shows but the drama in this show is nonstop and I love it. 4 bestfriends living in the city deal with being busy women while also trying to maintain their love lives and friendships. Each one of their lives contains a ridiculous amount of chaos and little did I know until the last episode that it is actually all connected. Right when you think the drama may be coming to an end, another loose end appears.

Also season by season the acting, and quality overall gets better.

38. The Good Doctor

Hulu

Diagnosed with autism, Dr Murphy is often looked down on and not taken seriously. My favorite part about this show is not only his ability for continuous growth and character development, but that he is able to prove to them in every episode why he is the best doctor there. This show causes you to reflect a lot as well.

BONUS: Another good watch with the same main character is Bates Motel! It’s a horror.

39. Girlfriends Guide to Divorce

Netflix

After getting a divorce, the main character faces many trials and tribulations of being alone again from dating, to loving herself and somehow still being the best mom that she can be. Not to mention, her friends are a hot mess.

40. Kim’s Convienence

Netflix

The Kim’s own a gas station. And well this comedy is about all of their lives in and out of the gas station. This show is so funny and gives you a chance to really look at someone’s culture outside of your own.

41. A Million Little Things

Hulu, ABC

A group of friends deal with continuing life after one of their bestfriends jumps out the window of a sky scraper. Completely caught off gaurd, they not have to figure out what life looks like moving forward with out him. This is another show with plot twisting drama and chaos. So many moments where you will be laughing one second and crying the next.

42. La Brea

Hulu

A mass sinkhole happens in California in the middle of a main road. Everyone who falls in, is presumed to be dead. Little do they know, those people are very much alive. Ouuuuu this show is soooo good. I don’t want to say much more and give anything away but this is a GREAT WATCH!!!!

43. Love is Blind

Netflix

Another dating show that has caught my eye is this one. It’s a dating show that ends in marriage but doesn’t allow you to see anyone you are talking to until you propose. The question really is… is love blind?

44. Sweet Magnolias

Netflix

A group of friends navigate life in a small town where everything seems so perfect. This show reminds you that all that glitters is not gold and it doesn’t have to be gold for you to love the life you have been going. This show has a way of reminding you to push forward and adjust with change.

45. Sex/Life

Netflix

A woman gets married and has kid but then starts to reflect on the life and the man that she had before she settled down. This show has to be the craziest short series ever because it feels like it starts and ends with a climax. As she starts to reflect on her past life, her actions and place of heart become very clear.
