The plane ride to Tokyo was going to be a long one, some fifty-five hundred miles non-stop, and conversating with this girl gave Logan something to do. Through conversation, he discovered that she was born and grew up in Florida then moved to Texas on a scholarship. After the program she was in ran out of money and the college not wanting to help, she expunged whatever funds she did have to try to make something work. The entire experience left her penniless and when she thought it was over, she started having blackouts while walking, which lead to a doctor explaining to her that she had diminished lung capacity from cancer. Her reasoning for coming to Japan was to not only take in the sites but to see if someone from the university could help her. She'd read the synapse in a journal in how the University of Tokyo was able to cure certain types of cancers using non-intrusive lasers, shrinking or destroying the chains that were infected. It was still considered highly experimental however the recovery rate was 10/10 so that was hopefull.

About that time the seatbelt warning light came on with the captain explaining that they were about to descend. The girl was about to get up but Logan grabbed her by the wrist,

"Come, stay. I normally don't conversate well but you've brought it out of me and I'd rather not loose that."

The girl sat back down, buckled her seatbelt, and thought for a moment before responding, "You and I are practically one in the same, aren't we? Always wanting to hold onto... something. Anything to make us feel better, even for a few moments."

Logan looked away like what she said had made him blush, but he hadn't and returned the gaze, "Is that really so bad? I mean I thought I had it bad but then you came along and we've spilled our life stories to each other like long lost friends."

The girl's cheecks turned a shade of red and she looked to the floor, "You're the first person ever to make me blush this hard," she looked up at Logan, "I like the fealing that comes with this, almost like it was meant to be."

Logan hadn't even thought about that. Romances generally don't happen thirty-thousand feet in the air and this one was heading into uncharted terrirories quickly. The landing at Haneda airport was soft which was comforting. Logan and the girl made their way to an available escelator. She grabbed his hand to hold it and Logan kept it, pulling her to him in an embrace. She stood up on her tip-toes and whispered 'my name's Sara by the way'. Logan bent down slightly and whispered 'i'm Logan'.

At the bottom of the escelator was the main lobby and it was packed with people coming or going. There was no uniformity, it was all chaos as those going were looking for their gates and those coming were looking for the luggage room. Logan looked around and saw a gentleman with a sign with his hame on it and they went over to him,

"Are you from the university?" Logan asked, not exactly sure why some guy was standing in an airport with a sign with his name on it,

"Konnichiwa, anata wa Logan-san?" came the reply. A question with a question. Logan looked at Sara, "you catch any of that?" as she nodded no.

"We don't speak Japanese." Logan began,

"I.D." came the response from the guy so Logan showed him his flight stub, "Hai. Kochira e dōzo" motioning the both of them to follow him.
