Since it became public news that 59 year old Nigerian billionaire, Ned Nwoko got married to then 18 year old wife, Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, the couple have been the topic of many discussions, controversy, and rumors.

Yet, as many stories come out about the couple, little is still known about who Ned Nwoko is and what was happening with him before getting he got married to Regina.

Ned Nwoko's full name is Prince Chinedu Munir Nwoko with Munir being his given Muslim name. He is a devout Muslim.

Ned Nwoko is a prince. He was born in 1960 at the royal palace at Idumuje-Ugboko in Aniocha-North LGA, Delta State Nigeria

Because of Ned Nwoko's Muslim faith, Regina Daniels changed her own faith from Christian to Muslim posting this picture on Instagram with the caption: "If nothing ever changed, there would be no butterfly"

Ned Nwoko allegedly caused Chika Ike and Annie Idibia to have a falling out around 2011 and 2012 according to reports.

So as the story goes, a news story from 8 years ago resurfaced. This story was reportedly first seen on Ladun Liadi's blog and here are some excerpts I'll show you from the post. It's poorly worded and I would have edited it but I want to give it you exactly as it was written 8 years ago:

As you read this report, fast rising actress Annie Macaulay and the rave of the moment (courtesy of her fancy nancy store) actress Chika Ike are in cold war. According to a source, the actresses have been good friends, until Annie introduced Chika to Prince Ned Nwoko who is a London trained international lawyer.

It was however gathered that, things went fine between the lawyer and Chika, with the actress getting a N16 million naira ‘tear rubber’ (brand new) Range Rover Sport from the relationship. And long before her friends could say the actress has arrived, she declared her Fancy Nancy store opened still courtesy of Prince Ned.

Annie who was however shocked about all these, a source said asked for her own share of what she got from the lawyer, but Chika turned her down insisting she worked hard for it.

The source also informed that, Prince Ned is angry about people crediting the Senate President, Senator David Mark as the one behind the actress new lifestyle, instead of him.

“The two friends have gone their separate ways and Annie is still so much bitter with her one time friend," the source concluded.

That was the report that came out 8 years ago before anybody really knew who Ned Nwoko was.

Ned Nwoko got his first degree in law and history from the University of Keele in Staffordshire, United Kingdom. He also got a masters degree in law from Kings College in London and an honorary doctorate degree from the Commonwealth University College in Belize.

Ned Nwoko and his Moroccan wife had a son who was Ned Nwoko's first born who was called Tarik. He died in London in 2014 at the young age of 22. Tariq who was a law student at North Staffordshire University, England suddenly died in his sleep at the early hours of Monday, December 8, 2014. Tarik had complained to his friends who had dinner with him on Sunday that he was feeling unwell only to be found dead on Monday morning according to news reports. According to the statement Ned Nwoko gave, the London police ruled out any foul play. The police authority also ruled out drugs and alcohol. Tarik was said to have been a keen footballer.

Because of his love for football and sports, Ned Nwoko in April of 2008 gave Christian Chukwu 5 million naira to support his medical needs and medical care abroad.

Ned Nwoko set up and maintained one of the leading law firms in the UK, where he claims to have practiced as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales. However, his name cannot be found on the law society database as a registered solicitor in the U.K.

Nwoko is the founder of the tourism destination, Mount Ned Nwoko Resort, one of 21 tourism sites approved by Delta state government. The tourist site consists of museum, farm, zoo, fishponds, poultry and a 9 hole golf course.

Ned Nwoko has allegedly had 4 marriages in his life and currently takes care of 6 women. In April, 2019, Ned Nwoko married what is said to be his sixth wife, 18 year old Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels.

At 59 years old, Ned Nwoko is about to become a father again. He is now expecting a baby with his young wife, Regina Daniels who announced her pregnancy to the world not too long ago.

He apparently loves to date celebrities so he can get his name out there. Popular blogger, Gistmerchant, made an Instagram post about one year ago which read:

Do you know that it was Ned that was sponsoring Chika through all those her trips, purchases, tv show? He has a political ambition and needs to gain popularity but hooking up with chika hoping to gain popularity failed as Chika wasn’t ready to show him to the public. Now he linked himself with Regina who wanted to also hide him but he refused and planted his camera people everywhere making sure their pictures were leaked and sent to the blog creating a media frenzy. Regina and her mum planned to chop and clean mouth.

Chika never directly responded to this, but in one caption while promoting her movie, Small Chops, Chika wrote:

Come to think of it, we’ve all been Small Chops unknowingly or knowingly at some point in our lives . 🤔

Small chops = side chick, side boyfriend, not the main meal , side piece , side everything 🤪etc

People took this to be a confirmation of the rumors.

Some news outlets claim that Ned Nwoko is actually Regina Daniels’ father. As bizarre as this is, the news outlets thought so because there had been no signs of the actress' real father. However, around May of 2019, Regina Daniels' real father broke his silence expressing disapproval about the marriage between the millionaire and his daughter.

Ned Nwoko has a foundation called the Prince Ned Nwoko Foundation through which he has contributed to the empowerment and education of youths of his constituency, senatorial district and state.

Ned Nwoko has also been involved in the political scene. He was elected member of the House of Representatives between 1999 and 2003 where he represented Aniocha / Oshimili federal constituency. He also charged the Federal government to court on behalf of 774 Local governments for the refund of illegal deductions and he obtained judgment of $3.2billion for the local governments. He is also the Chairman of Project Tourism Nigeria
