14 Times Daniel Sharman Was the Loveliest

Because there's no such thing as too much Daniel Sharman content.

One episode of Medici: The Magnificent [currently streaming on Netflix. Go watch it!] – that’s all it took for me to get reeled in and quickly becoming a fan of Daniel Sharman.

Of course, Teen Wolf fans have known since his days playing Isaac Lahey on the supernatural teen hit that falling for Daniel’s acting and how it draws you into any character he’s portraying, isn’t a particularly difficult feat. Whether it’s playing a patron of Italian Renaissance art in the 1400’s or playing a mysteriously hooded and melancholy monk, the London native delivers stellar performances every single time.

Beyond that, fans admire Daniel for his genuine spirit and caring nature. The fact that he uses his platform to draw attention to human rights issues, dedicates his time to numerous charities, promotes friends and the work they do, or just sharing adorable photos of his pup, Ricky. The selfless nature of the 34-year-old is what keeps the adoration of fans so strong.

So for all of Dan's fans out there, here are just 14 times in which Daniel Sharman was the most lovely.

"Don't I know you?"

As if dancing to Phosphorescent's New Birth In New England wasn’t entertaining and adorable enough, he also decided to dedicate the post to those working on the front lines for the NHS, over in the UK, which includes his mom who he of course gave an honourable mention to for Mother’s Day.

All of us, endeared? Yes. 1000%.

Dancing + Kids = Heart Eyes

Hold on to your panini and wine, because this video of Daniel dancing with an adorable little girl is surely going to bring some happiness to your day.

Rocking out to Laura Pausini

I mean, who hasn’t belted out a Laura Pausini tune at some point? The lady is a powerhouse, so it’s no wonder Daniel got carried away before shoots.

The Relatability

I’m not saying I regularly feel like an old man who complains about almost everything. Who makes sounds whenever doing something, yells at the television as if the person behind it would hear it, or that I’d rather listen to songs from the 40s and 50s than to anything top 40. No, not regularly... but it does happen quite often.

Date Night

When asked what his ideal date night would be, the actor shared just how little he needs in order to have a good time. Bonus points for the chain on his glasses and if, at that moment, he didn’t know what “Netflix and chill” actually meant. Re: The relatability.

A Face for Good

It was during a Teen Wolf aftershow when co-star, Jill Wagner, read out a comment on Daniel’s innocent-looking face which resulted in the above response.

Well, that’s a lie because that face stole our hearts. So there's that.

It's the Sarcasm For Me

I’m not sure what sent me more – the question or the level of sarcasm in his response.

Stahp! You're Precious

Here’s a smiling Daniel to bring a little joy to your day.

All the Pawfect Puns

Unlike the one I just made for the subtitle, Daniel and his Medici co-star Bradley James, brought out the best puns for this charity quiz announcement. They both stole our heart here so, the on-screen brothers will have to share this one.

All about Pingu

As someone who was an avid Pingu watcher, every day when I got home from school, I wholeheartedly respect this answer.

Sword Wielding 101

Look, the Weeping Monk works long days and is tired. Sometimes, a bit of sword dropping is inevitable.

Cue My Chemical Romance’s “The Black Parade”

It was at this moment, where our hearts broke.

As the days go by, the prospect of there being a second season of Netflix’s Cursed, gets farther and farther away. This means we won’t see any more of Daniel as the Weeping Monk/Lancelot which really, it’s fine! I’m fine! *she was not fine*. But we can always still look back at scenes like this, and awe at his range.

A+ Comedic Timing

If you're looking for a fun and quirky movie to watch, where Daniel shows off his stellar comedic facial expressions and timing, Albion the Enchanted Stallion is that. It's fun, has a fantastic cast, and doesn't take itself too seriously. Honestly, isn't that what we need right now?

Poetry, anyone?

Lastly, it was back in June when Daniel read Ron Padgett's "How to be Perfect", for the Share the Love fund, which works to support communities during trying times. Something about this just makes you feel like things are going to be okay.

*Bonus* Mental Health Awareness

Livestreaming this past weekend with his friend, Ryan Weiss, the pair discussed the importance of mental health awareness and self-care. Ryan has put together a completely free, 60-day program dedicated to mental health and self-care. Available on thesanctuarychallenge.com, all you have to is sign up and everything you need is given to you at no extra cost.
