1. He actually has FOUR children.

Many people think that Femi Otedola has only three daughters because those are the ones they see the most, especially after Femi famously both three Ferraris for his three daughters, Cuppy, Temi, and Tolani.

However, Femi has a fourth child, a son who goes by the name Fewa.

2. He saved Victor Olaotan’s life.

In 2016, veteran actor Victor Olaotan was involved in a dastardly car accident and a GoFundMe page was started to help with his treatment, but unfortunately, funds weren’t really coming in.

So, actor Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD) reached out to people for help – amongst these people was Femi Otedola who went ahead and did the unimaginable. He covered ALL the medical expenses of Victor Olaotan.

RMD shared the news on his social media saying:

So, a few days ago, I reached out to @femiotedola asking for help for my friend and brother Victor and just this morning, Femi calls to tell me that he would take care of ALL of Victor’s bills. He told me that he is already on it and that his people are already talking with Victor’s wife. Is God not awesome?? I can’t even contain my joy and gratitude. Thank you Femi @femiotedola you are a man and a half and thank you to my young friend @gbenroajibade for championing this cause, they really don’t make them like you anymore, you are such an amazing “child” and I am proud to know you.

Thank you to everyone who has supported in one way or the other. It’s been a long time coming

3. He was a victim of blackmail and cyber crime

In December 2016, Otedola was caught in a controversy where two Toronto-based sisters—Jyoti and Kiran Matharoo—reportedly tried to extort him by cyberbullying and blackmail, claiming that they had evidence of Otedola cheating on his wife and threatening to post it on the internet.

Otedola filed a complaint and the two sisters were charged to court. They made confessional statements and issued a public apology to Otedola and his family for trying to blackmail him.

4. He's a fan of Mr. Eazi

As some people know, singer Mr. Eazi is currently dating one of Femi’s daughters, Temi. However, for some reason, many people assume that it is something that Femi doesn’t approve of, or that he has never met Mr. Eazi.

On the contrary, when an Instagram user came to Femi’s page to profess love for Temi, it was Femi himself who told the user that Temi had a boyfriend.

They have even taken pictures together and dined together.

It looks like Femi is a fan of Eazi.

5. He pledged 1 Billion Naira To Combat COVID-19

Taking to his Instagram page, Femi Otedola publicly shared his intention that he would be contributing 1 Billion Naira to the eradication of COVID-19

6. There were rumors about him and Tiwa Savage

Following pictures of Femi Otedola and Tiwa Savage sharing a picture together where she held a Forte Oil bag, the rumor mill went spinning. Following Tiwa Savage’s breakup from her husband TeeBillz, the ‘sources’ once again came out to write things saying and I quote this from one of the reports:

Also Teebillz allegedly kept blackmailing her about her extra-marital affairs. He kept hanging her alleged relationship with oil magnate, Femi Otedola, over her head.

According to the source:

“He accused her of sleeping with Otedola in the early months of her pregnancy. He slapped and locked her out when she was pregnant due to stories of the affair. She never told us if she indeed slept with the man but her husband kept hammering on it. Even if she did, why didn’t he just walk? Let me answer that, he’s broke and in debt and needs that Otedola money.

Of course, all of these were conjecture and rumor and there was never real evidence or credible information to back the claims.

Singer Tiwa Savage however alluded to this fiasco and all the rumors of her dating billionaires in the music video for her hit single, Koroba.

7. He once spent £550,000 (N274.8 Million) on a Rolls Royce Phantom

And £300,000 (N150 Million) on special 1FO number plates.

8. He’s an author

He’s book is yet to be released. Taking to Instagram he posted the picture below with the caption:

It’s a wrap! Finally concluded interviews with my friends, Kunle Bakare and Simon Kolawole, on my debut book on business lessons. Interviews spanning 18 months across Lagos, Monte Carlo, Paris, New York, London and now Dubai

9. He’s VERY close to his mother

People raised eyebrows and had so many different opinions when Femi Otedola shared a picture where he kissed his mother on the lip. He captioned the picture:

Sweet mother, I no go forget you. For this suffer wey you suffer for me ♥

10. He’s good friends with Aliko Dangote

People like to compare and pit people against each other. In many people’s minds, there’s some kind of rivalry between billionaires Aliko Dangote and Femi Otedola. However, this is far from the case. In fact the two men, Dangote and Otedola are good friends who hang out all the time.

11. He LOVES his family

A lot. Every other post on his Instagram is either a celebration of his children, or promoting their individual projects. He also regularly showers them with lavish gifts, most famously, the Ferraris he bought for all three of his daughters. Of course his wife Nana too is never left out and gets a lot of love on social media.

That’s All.
