These ones will surprise you.

BBNaija, short for Big Brother Nigeria, is the new craze of the town. There's no denying it. There's no running away from it. In fact, if you're a Nigerian then you know that BBNaija news now haunts us E-VE-RY-WHERE. It's every other post on our news feed, it's every other notification, it's what everybody in your church and Whatsapp group is talking about. It is everywhere!

And this of course isn't new, this is how it goes every single year. This season is BBNaija Season 5. We're used to it. And this time around I've said to myself: okay, if you cannot beat them, join them! So this time around, I am watching Big Brother Nigeria.

My thoughts on that...are not why you clicked on this post today.

You clicked today because you want to see 11 Things You Didn't Know About one of the most beloved housemates in the house today, Vee.

Obviously, all of the housemates in the house had lives before going into the house and although we have access to these housemates lives 24/7, there are some things we still don't know about them from watching the television.

So, I have done some digging from the archives and I am here today to share with you 11 things you didn't know about BBNaija's Vee.

Are you ready to dive in? Then let's go!

1. She’s a professional singer

While one or two people know that Vee has a nice voice and can sing, not many people know that she’s a professional singer. And even those who know she’s a professional singer maybe do not know the extent to it.

Vee has been singing for some time and has a couple of songs under her belt. Her collaboration with artiste, Don EE titled ‘You Know’ already has over 2 million plays on Spotify while her own song, Ecstasy featuring Afro B has over 900,000 views.

2. She didn’t go to university

Yup! Vee opted not to go to university because she wanted to focus on her music career. Very surprising for a child of Nigerian parents.

At least the music is good.

3. She’s very good friends with Adekunle Gold

More than being in the industry, Vee also has some industry friends, one notable one being singer/songwriter, Adekunle Gold.

In fact, on Vee’s birthday, Adekunle Gold sent in a video wishing her a happy birthday and telling her how much he misses her and can’t wait to catch up. Also, in some of Vee’s tweets before going into the house, she complemented Adekunle Gold’s Kelegbe Megbe song saying it was “one of my favourite songs from you ❤️”

4. She considers Tiwa Savage her foster mom

The singer took to social media to post a picture with African bad girl, Tiwa Savage. She captioned the picture: “me & my foster mum @TiwaSavage 😩❤️”

5. Burna Boy blocked her on Twitter

The singer posted the surprising picture in 2017. We still don’t know why. It looks like even she doesn’t know why.

6. She doesn’t believe in cancel culture.

She took to Twitter earlier this year to express her views on it saying:

This whole “This you?” thing is tiring. I can’t be holding onto old discriminatory tweets from people I don’t even know or care about. ‘Cancelling’ people when I’m not above mistakes myself. But that’s just me sha.

Honestly. I can’t tell people what to be or not be offended by but aren’t they tired of seeing the same kind of horrible tweets? We need to focus on more important issues.

Doesn’t depend on anything. I’m not cancelling people based on old tweets. It’s that simple.

7. She once went skinny dipping

In an interview with Africa Magic, Vee revealed that the craziest thing she’s ever done is go skinny dipping. If you don’t know what skinny dipping is, it is when someone goes swimming in public naked.

8. Her biggest turn-off in men is…

A bragging attitude. In an interview with Africa Magic, Vee revealed that her biggest turn-off in the opposite sex is:

A bragging attitude. I like a guy that keeps it quiet and I can see his energy on his body.

Conversely, her biggest turn-on in the opposite gender is

Muscles. I love a muscular man.

9. Her parents are so adorable

I mean look at them. So cute.

10. She’s also really close with her mum

…and she likes to celebrate her on social media

11. She also has the cutest god son.

His name is Caiden Isaiah and Vee can’t stop expressing how much she loves him.

That's All.
