What do you do when you're in a bad mood? You watch a movie.

10. 'The Intern' (2015)

Nancy Meyers directed this movie, so good vibes are assured. This uplifting story reminds us that age is just a number, and it's never too late to trust your gut and follow your passions. Ben (Robert De Niro) becomes a new senior intern at an online fashion site–a very successful company founded by Jules (Anne Hathaway).

9. 'Midnight in Paris' (2011)

Rachel McAdams, Marion Cotillard, Owen Wilson, Kathy Bates, Adrien Brody... and they are all in Paris! What else do you need? A nostalgic writer finds himself mysteriously going back to the 1920s everyday at midnight. Rachel McAdams is an absolute scene-stealer in this movie.

8. 'Music and Lyrics' (2007)

Who doesn't love Drew Barrymore? Right. Former music superstar Alex (Hugh Grant) scores a chance at a major comeback when reigning pop diva Cora Corman (Haley Bennett–absolutely slaying this role BTW) asks him to write a song for her. He soon gets help from Sophie (Drew Barrymore)–his plant lady.

7. 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower' (2012)

The story about a socially awkward teen, Charlie (Logan Lerman), and his new friends–charismatic and free-spirited Sam (Emma Watson) and Patrick (Ezra Miller). The cast in this movie is absolutely amazing. It's an uplifting story that makes you laugh and cry at the same time, but in the end, it's also making you feel very very happy.

6. 'Wild Child' (2008)

Emma Roberts will forever be my favorite mean girl. Spoiled sixteen-year-old, Poppy (Emma Roberts), has everything a teen can dream of. After a final thoughtless prank, her father (Aidan Quinn) ships her off to boarding school in England. This movie will make you laugh so hard. Guest star of the movie is also Shirley Henderson, and you may know her as Moaning Myrtle from Harry Potter movies.

5. 'Bad Teacher' (2011)

One of my favorite movies starring Cameron Diaz. It's just so so funny. The awkward vibe of the middle school, Phyllis Smith from The Office, and Justin Timberlake? Yup. Elizabeth (Cameron Diaz) couldn't care less about teaching. Her main goal in life is to marry a rich man. She has to rethink her plans when her sugar daddy dumps her. Elizabeth soon gets motivated by the bonus teachers receive for the best test results. And things start getting crazy.

4. 'The Rebound' (2009)

Not a very famous movie but so good... Catherine Zeta-Jones plays Sandy- 40-year-old divorcee who's trying to build a new life with her kids in New York. She soon starts a relationship with a much younger man. Sparks fly between the couple but Sandy is not sure whether the relationship can last. A very uplifting story that instantly makes you want to hug everybody around.

3. 'The Intouchables' (2011)

A Parisian aristocrat who's quadriplegic hires a young man to be his live-in caretaker. Although seemingly very different, the two men bond and develop a special, unique friendship. A beautiful story about friendship, adversity, and love that warms your heart.

2. 'The Proposal' (2009)

Sandra Bullock is definitely one of my favorite comedians. Her roles in Miss Congeniality, The Heat, and Ocean's 8 prove it. The Proposal is a special movie that I can watch for the 20th time, and still enjoy. Faced with deportation to her native Canada, high-powered, and influential Margaret (Sandra Bullock) says she's engaged to Andrew (Ryan Reynolds) her shy assistant. One of the members of the cast is also the queen Betty White.

1. 'Little Miss Sunshine' (2006)

Abigail Breslin was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Little Miss Sunshine at the age of 10! The Hoover Family (Toni Collette, Steve Carell, Paul Dano, Alan Arkin) puts the fun back in dysfunctional by piling into a VW bus, and heading to California to support little Olive Hoover (Abigail Breslin) in her bid to win the Little Miss Sunshine Contest. This awkward and dysfunctional family will make you laugh. The movie will also teach you how important self-love and family are.
