You might not have realized that there have been many changes since the PS4 console's release. You might feel a little lost with the new design, faster processor, and new system.

Navigating the new PS5 and all its games is one thing. But now that it's also backwards compatible, you need to be able to navigate the PS4/PS5 properly. Although it sounds simple, there are some important rules and tricks that you need to know.

We are here to help you become more familiar with your PS5 console so that you can enjoy the best of the PS5 and fully appreciate its groundbreaking technology. These are some tips and tricks that will help you get to know your console better.

It can be turned off

Yes, we're being dead serious. Although you may laugh at our first tip, it is not the easiest to understand. We'll save you 10 minutes of searching for it and explain it right away. Press the PlayStation button at the center of the console. Don't hold down. You'll then see the menu and the power icon at the bottom of the screen.

Alternativ, you can also use the console's physical power button. It can be found at the bottom if you are sitting vertically or on the far left if you are sitting horizontally.

Transfer files and games from your PS4

You won't want any files, progress, or games that you have saved to your PS4 if you upgrade. So you will need to know how to transfer them all to your PS5. This can be done during setup or you can choose to skip it and return later.

Begin by connecting both consoles to an Ethernet cable. This is much faster than Wi-Fi.

Next, go to Settings on your PS5, click System > System Software. Select Data Transfer, then continue to choose your PS4. After Prepare For Data Transfer notification displays, hold down the power button for a few seconds to hear the PS4's beep. Click Start data transfer.

Are you currently playing the PS5 version?

This is where things can get confusing. It can be very helpful to have PS4 games on your PS5 but you must ensure that you are only playing the latest version. When you are on the home screen, make sure the title of the game has PS5 written next to it. You can also filter your games by Platform in your Game Library.

Optimizing your controller

DualSense controller's amazing technology requires that you learn how to use it. The DualSense controller creates a completely immersive experience that adjusts to the weapon you are using.

Although the controller has pre-set vibration settings, you can easily alter the intensity of vibration. Open Settings > Accessories > Controllers. DualShock 4 controllers can be used from the PS4; you will find setting to lower the brightness of the indicator lights.

3D Audio

A pair of headphones is essential for a truly immersive experience. 3D audio is used by game developers to enhance the experience and create an immersive gaming experience. The 3D audio is automatically turned on so you only need to plug in your headphones and calibrate it via your settings page.

Remote control of your PS5

PlayStation has recently updated its app, which is now available for both iOS and Android. You can access your profile, chats, the latest news, and make purchases in the PlayStation store via the mobile app. Remotely update your PS5 and organize your storage. You can also launch games fast and painlessly.

The PS5 is superior than any other console from PlayStation. It can create amazing, immersive and entertaining experiences.
