With the Game Awards just around the corner, today has been a whirlwind. Gamers have already proclaimed Halo Infinite to be the finest game of the year thanks to the imminent addition of a long-sought feature.

However, a different organization we'll be covering today certainly doesn't enjoy the media attention. When it comes to games like Fortnite, it's not uncommon for them to operate a smooth operation. As a result of an early leak, fans were given a taste of what's to come.

The trailer for Fortnite's Chapter 3 was leaked on Twitter, and it includes Spider-Man swinging and sliding about.

As far as Fortnite's future is concerned, Epic Games hasn't done the greatest job of keeping players in the dark. Secrets are being revealed piecemeal, and the source is none other than Epic. The island has been turned upside down and Spider-Man will appear in a crossover event at Fortnite's Polish Twitter account today. The clip implied that Gears of War might make an appearance in one of the seasons. Even with The Rock's latest hints, we've already had a very jam-packed chapter in the works.

"By the End of the Year," 343 aims to add playlists to Halo Infinite.

The multiplayer launch of Halo Infinite has mainly been warmly received by fans. According to many fans, it was well worth the wait, and it's only going to grow better with its complete release in the near future. This has been a problem for many, since you can't truly pick whatever game mode to play in because there are no playlists. Fortunately, this is about to change, as the game will have playlists "before the end of the year." This information comes from a 343 community manager and demonstrates that user input is being taken into account.

In spite of Warzone's $1 billion in profits, Activision's Raven Software suddenly Lay off staff.

Since the Activision Blizzard claims surfaced, we haven't covered Call of Duty news. However, we felt compelled to make an exception in this case. Despite the fact that Warzone is expected to bring in $1 billion in revenue for Raven Software in 2020 alone, the company is cutting off QA workers without notice. Workers at Activision Blizzard believe they were promised a raise before, which was particularly well-deserved due of Warzone's popularity, as well as the fact that many of them moved on their own own to work at the firm. They're now in a precarious financial situation, have no income, and may be forced to relocate again.

Game Awards Players' Voice: Halo Infinite, New World.

It's time to find out what gamers have to say about the last year in gaming when the Game Awards take place on Thursday. First-round voting has begun for the Players' Choice award, which will conclude shortly. There are still two more rounds to go in the voting process, but we have a decent sense of how the audience is responding. The single-player campaign for Halo Infinite hasn't even been released yet, which is quite an accomplishment. As of now, Resident Evil Village and Forze Horizon 5 are neck-and-neck with Resident Evil Village for the top spot. It's safe to say that Battlefield 2042 and New World are out of the race.

As part of the Game Awards, Xbox users will be able to play 35 demos of new games.

No awards show is complete without new games being announced. To celebrate the occasion, early Microsoft store listings indicated that we would be receiving new game samples, and now it has been confirmed: Next week, there will be a total of 35 titles available. We won't get to see the final versions of the games, but we'll get a flavor of what the teams are working on with these early prototypes.
