Finally! The day has arrived that the final order is now out and playable, some having to wait for this video game to come out for at least a year, if not maybe more. I do not consider myself a huge gamer, but this Star Wars video game has reached new levels of awesomeness that I had to write about it. I’m a big Star Wars fan myself. I’ve seen all the movies more than once, but it was thanks to my older sister’s obsession with the franchise.

First off let’s start off with the graphics of this game. It is comparably better than the past Star Wars games. The creators had paid attention to tiny details such as the lighting in the game. Small lights in dark spaces are exactly as they would be in real life. If you are in a dark hallway and use your lightsaber as a source of light, it will have a light glow just as you would expect. Shadows are present on the characters’ faces with angles taken into account. Yes, there are video games out there with that amount of detail and precision when looking at lightning. But, I believe the Fallen Order brings those details into a whole other light with clarity.

The main character that a player uses is actually the face of the actor known as Cameron Monaghan. He is the voice actor in the video game and does an excellent job of it. It seems the creators of the game had taken all of his facial expressions and managed to convert it into a character within the game. This is part of what makes the graphics amazing.

The graphics of the game are so well done that it was one of the first things I’ve noticed when watching the gameplay. There are details in minor gameplay elements such as the details in the stone and the small shrubs. It is realistically completed. When your characters run over the water you can see the splash from your footsteps. Then, when two lightsabers react, they do so in the appropriate manner like in the movies.

The fights. I can’t even. This is probably the most complex fighting I have seen in a video game. It is like watching a movie. The characters on the dark side are not easy to beat, they move at different paces and can show up as if from nowhere, which adds to the intensity of the fighting. You fight against numerous different characters from security droids to Sith Lords. All of them have different weaknesses and strengths. If you knock down a clone they will get up using their hands like any person if they had been knocked down rather than just using their legs like in most video games and standing upright right away. The creators wanted to make the gaming experience as realistic as they could and succeeded at it.

The gameplay is challenging but worth it. Unlike most Star Wars games, you are a Jedi and do not have much of a choice whether you want to be a Sith or a Jedi. You are given a character and that’s who you play as during the entire duration of the game. The storyline is intense and leaves you feeling like you’ve watched a Star Wars movie. It keeps your heart racing and wanting more. Like any other game, as you level up more and more, skills become available to you. Every part of the lightsaber is customizable to your liking. Even though character customization is limited, there is a lot of freedom with the lightsaber. This game is absolutely astounding in all aspects.
