For those of you who played any of the Killzone games but haven't lately, you might want to listen to this: All the servers in Killzone 2 and Killzone 3 will be shut down permanently on the 29th this month. It was been announced by the creators of this awesome series, Guerilla Games, on December 2017. Six years of non-stop action in the multiplayer rooms with ISA and Helghast clashing and shedding endless blood on the battlefields are finally coming to an end.As the days continue to count down, most Killzone players have been unaware of this and for those of you who just got Killzone 2 or 3, you might be disappointed when the servers go down. The campaigns will still be on, so the games will still be playable. I have to admit, I've just gotten Killzone 3 a few months ago and I'm stuck on the campaign 'cause I don't have a controller with a tilt axis (don't laugh at me) and just started on the multiplayer when I had internet. Funny enough, it's the first Killzone game I've ever played as finding the others were rather hard to find except for Shadow Fall, but at the time, I only had the PlayStation 2 so finding the first two had been difficult. Well, enough of me, let's get back on the subject. So with the servers shutting down, those who are aware have been playing in the servers, mostly on Guerilla Warfare and Warzone, and Operations is hardly ever touched. There are some who try and record as much of the action as possible. Some even stream in through whatever devices they have in possession, to share some memorable moments in the games with their viewers. Some moments could be of intense kill streaks, rage moments, players being kicked and banned from the game, and so on. Though the Killzone 2 and Killzone 3 multiplayer servers will be gone, Guerilla Games have pointed out that the servers for Killzone: Shadow Fall will still be up and running. If you ever checked the reviews on the Killzone games, you'll more than likely find that the multiplayer servers are much more enjoyable than the campaign alone, as most of the players despise playing out the ISA campaign ever since they read the background story and found out the truth about the Helghast and would prefer to fight alongside the Helghast rather than the ISA.Just a brief background reminder, the Helghast were wrongfully exiled from Vekta and were sent to the planet Helghan in hand-me-down ships that provide little to no radiation cover and they suffered horribly from the radiation sickness among other things and the Vektans did nothing to help them but instead, chose to let them die. Look up the background story if you wish to know more of the truth.Of course the background story and seeing all the tech the Helghast have to their advantage, along with their apparel appearances, are among some of the main reasons why most players prefer playing as the Helghast and would rather do a Helghast campaign instead of ISA.

So for those of you who haven't played Killzone 2 and Killzone 3 and you have them for your PlayStation systems and you have access to the multiplayer servers, you might wanna take out the cases, blow away the dust, take out the discs and check for anything, put them in the systems, and get to playing if you want to create your own memorable moments.
