The new arena map library

PUBG mobile is arguably one of the most popular mobile games has introduced a new arena map Library.

The name for the game played in library is GUN-GAME. Like all the other arena matches library or the gun-game is divided between two teams; red and blue each team having four players.

Basically in this mode every player starts with the same weapon and as they kill players from the opposite team their weapon upgrades. The objective of the game is to kill with the final weapon PAN to win. Each player has to go through the same chain of weapons as they kill other players for a total of 18 different weapons.

This game has the time limit of 10 minutes and in order to win any team either has to kill with the final weapon pan or the team with the highest scores when the times run out. It is a relatively new concept and very few games have this kind of mode. This kind of gameplay brings diversity to the players who are bored by playing the traditional TDM( team death match).

Library is a small map, considering only 8 players can play in it at once. Although small but beautifully designed displaying a destroyed library which has plenty of hiding or camping spaces such as behind the bookshelf but at the same time it is open as well especially in the centre. There is also a bridge at the centre which often becomes the heart of the battle. The players with most kills of each team is displayed on the top which shows the players frame and icon and the number of kills they have done once a player has reachef 17 kills a notification comes that the xyz player has reached the final weapon pan.

This mode is very fast paced and also tests the players ability to use different kinds of weapons from pistols to sniper rifles, from SMG(Small machine guns) to LMG(light machine guns), from shotguns to assault rifles.

The starting weapon is always a SMG including tommy gun, MPK,UMP45,uzi.

Due to the fast pace of the game many players find it difficult to land kills from sniper rifles, pistols and crossbow.

Although landing kill from pan is not very difficult even though it is melee weapon. I find killing from the crossbow to be toughest, crossbow sometimes comes as the 17th weapon even though powerful but due low accuracy, very slow rate of fire and incredibly slow velocity of the arrow killing from crossbow is very hard.

Even though the gun game concept is very exciting and fun to play, given what a beautiful map library is, an ordinary TDM of 40 kills would also be great in that map, as of now only warehouse and ruins are avilable for the TDM.

One of the best things about this gun-game concept is players are forced to use every kind of weapon which basically trains players to better use of weapons which they might ignore in a classic match, not to mention this game mode also made use of the weapons that are only available in the air drop that are-

AUG A3, Groza, AWM,M249,MK14 and the latedt weapon DBS shotgun.

Due to the rarity of these weapons in the classic matches players might not be able to get to play with these guns often. DBS shotgun which was mostly ignored by players in the classic matches even though its a air drop weapon was because it is a shotgun but using this weapon in library players have realised how strong this gun is and how useful it can be, this has prompt players to use this shotgun in classic matches as well.

The library map or the gun-game mode is not perfect as of now there is a great room for improvement but what we can safely assume is PUBG mobile is going in the right direction by introducing newer and unique concepts into their game making it more fun all together.
