One of the biggest names that MI managed to rope in was Australian all-rounder Cameron Green. Green, who was registered at a base price of Rs. 2 crore, ended up becoming the second-most expensive player in the history of the IPL, with MI shelling out Rs. 17.50 crore to acquire his services. Green’s inclusion is a big boost for the team, as he brings with him a wealth of experience and talent. His ability to bat in the top order and bowl in the middle overs makes him a valuable asset for any team.

Along with Green, MI also added Jhye Richardson, Piyush Chawla, Duan Jansen, Shams Mulani, Nehal Vadhera, and Vishnu Vinod to their squad. Richardson, who was bought at a base price of INR 1.5 crore, is a fast bowler who can clock speeds in excess of 140 kmph. Chawla, on the other hand, is an experienced leg-spinner who has played for several IPL teams over the years. Jansen, Mulani, Vadhera, and Vinod are all young players with a lot of potential, and MI will be looking to groom them into future stars.

Mumbai Indian’s squad also boasts of some big names who were already a part of the team. Jasprit Bumrah, Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav, and Jofra Archer are all players who have made a name for themselves in the IPL and will be key players for Mumbai Indian's in the upcoming season. Bumrah, with his unorthodox bowling action and ability to bowl yorkers at will, is one of the best death bowlers in the world. Kishan and Yadav, both of whom had a fantastic IPL 2022 season, will be looking to continue their good form with the bat. Archer, who missed the previous IPL season due to injury, will be raring to go and prove his worth.

MI’s squad also includes some young and talented players who could make a big impact in the upcoming season. Tilak Varma, Dewald Brevis, Hrithik Shokeen, and Tristan Stubbs are all players who caught the eye last season and could be in line for more game time this season. Arjun Tendulkar, the son of Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, is another player who could make his mark in the IPL this season.
