20 Years of 'Pokémon' and Why I'm Still a Fan
20 years ago I was the kid who had no friends. I was the quiet one. I preferred the darkness of my room over being out in public. I preferred sitting under my lamp with a book in my hands, a controller in my lap, and empty coke cans laying around the floor around me in my "shrine". 20 years ago was also the first time I'd ever heard of the series. Before it I found myself surrounded by games such as Mortal Kombat, G.I. Joe, and even Battletoads still.

Playing Pokémon Sun or Moon Early? Nintendo is Throwing the Ban Hammer Out
We're not strangers to the ferocity of Nintendo's ways to keeping leaked copies of games from hitting consoles or handhelds early. While there was some story embedded within Titanfall, it truly was troubled in establishing its own identity, and unfortunately it was something that ultimately began to lead to the games downfall due to the paid DLC. Later in its life it began to succeed once the DLC went free and causing fans to flock to the title.
