Without a question, Halo is a worldwide phenomenon. It's undoubtedly one of Microsoft Studio's most well-known games and a lot of first-person shooter fans' favourite Xbox game—I know I play it! Halo leaves a flavorful and rich legacy. With the arrival of Halo Infinite soon, what better way to celebrate than reading this list of the most bizarre Halo facts that only true fans will know? This Xbox/PC exclusive has been running strong since 2001.

The game that ultimately altered the first-person experience was Halo: Combat Evolved. Then Halo 2 confirmed that. We had one of the greatest campaigns ever with Halo 3. From an RTS standpoint, Halo is shown in Halo Wars and Halo Wars 2. Halo Reach provided us with an even better forge along with improved gameplay. As 343 took over from Bungie, Halo 4 received a mixed reception; nonetheless, several improvements were made. Although Halo 5 divides the community, it ultimately gave us so much.

This list includes items for all fans, regardless of whether they are novices to the Halo franchise or experts in Halo lore. The events in the Halo chronology are woven together in a very elaborate and long story. Fortunately for you, I've been searching for some of the most bizarre facts while out on the front lines. It's all here, from the preferred hand of a jackal to that of an Egyptian queen!

1. It was intended to be a solo game!

Halo: Combat Evolved almost didn't contain a multiplayer mode. It doesn't take a genius to figure just how successful Halo would have been without the multiplayer feature. Despite having a fantastic plot, Halo's multiplayer gameplay was its main selling point and without it, the game probably wouldn't have survived. The beloved multiplayer option that is a feature of the game was hastily developed and introduced within a few weeks! Well done, Bungie!

2. The name offended the developers.

The first in a long line of Halo games that would completely blow us away was Halo: Combat Evolved. Not many people are aware, though, that Microsoft included Combat Evolved to rival other military shooters. Jaime Griesemer, who worked on the first three games, said in an interview for Edge Magazine that he and the rest of Bungie... loathed it. "Combat Evolved" is analogous to "Sneaking Rediscovered" for a Metal Gear Solid, he continued.

3. Halo 3 Was Suppressed

Actually, "Cheynemania" was intended to be an achievement in Halo 3. With a shotgun, the player would need to eliminate ten opponents in a succession without losing. The accomplishment was nicknamed "open season" following several discussions.

Microsoft was right to play it safe in this instance!

The accomplishment was a mention to the incident in which Dick Cheney accidentally shot his friend in the leg with a shotgun, and the guy later apologised.

4. The Unknown Modification To The Arbiter

The Covenant warriors frequently refer to Master Chief as "Demon" in the video game Halo. We know of the innumerable Covenant schemes that we have foiled, so this comes as no great surprise. You might be surprised to learn that Thel Vadam (Arbiter) calls the Master Chief "Spartan" instead of "Demon". This demonstrates the Arbiter's conviction in Master Chief as well as their scepticism of the Covenant's deeds and claims.

5. Strange Facts Regarding Hunters' Bodies

The body of the Hunter is not a single living thing. Rather, it is composed of many orange, eel-like organisms. These colonies divide into two new Hunters when they grow too large.

It raises questions, doesn't it? Why don't we ever see Hunters of all sizes?

Hunters are said to typically stand twelve to thirteen feet tall, yet in the Halo: Legends episode "The Duel," we learn that they are at least fifty feet tall. In response, Frank O'Connor stated that the Hunter's form is dependent upon the planet's gravity.

6. There Are 25 Books About Halo.

Novels on the Halo franchise are actually very well-liked by both readers and gamers. There are twenty-five titles available right now! Given how meaty the Halo mythos is, these novels delve deeply into it, so there's definitely something for everyone. The Halo timeline is covered in portions, ranging from the Forerunners to the Flood and all points in between. When you combine the experience of the games itself with the novels, which are frequently the creations of multiple authors who have won numerous prizes between them, you get the Halo supergiant.

7. The Eight Types of Covenants

The Covenant appears in nearly every Halo game and is typically regarded by gamers as the primary foe. There are eight distinct species that comprise the Covenant, all of which are headed by the Prophet race. The Covenant's numbers and cannon fodder are made up of grunts. The sniper race is the jackal. The Elites are viewed as the Prophet's hands, employed to accomplish their tasks. The Brutes, who comprise the muscle, come next. The flying, bug-eyed pest race are the drones. The living tanks are the hunters. The submissive race known as engineers provides safety to its warriors. The leaders of the Covenant, the Prophets, are the last group.

8. Princess Peach Is Also Performed by The Voice Of Cortana (Yeehaw!)

Unbeknownst to you, Cortana and Princess Peach share the same voice actor! Jen Taylor is a well-known voice actor with a long history of work in video games. She provided the voice of Princess Peach, the helpless heroine from the Mario franchise. She was also the voice of our cherished AI, Cortana. Though Jen has done some TV work, her voice in video games is what made her most famous. She began by doing the voices for the video game Backyard Baseball. Her other noteworthy voice acting credits include Left 4 Dead 2, EverQuest II, The Matrix: Path of Neo, and Aliens vs. Predator 2.

9. Conan O'Brien Appearing

In Halo 4, Conan O'Brien and Andy Richter had a brief appearance as Marines in the game. The different late-night TV shows that Conan and Andy host have made them most famous. It was confirmed that the two would be contributing their vocal skills to Halo 4. In the run-up to Halo 4, this was reported in 2012. They will always have this advantage; I don't think we'll see Jay Leno providing a voice in Halo very soon. They may be found in the sixth mission of Halo 4, Shutdown.

10. This Is How Everything Started...

Twenty-seven years before to the first game, the Human and Covenant factions were at war. If you want to experience the beginning of the battle for yourself, Halo: Wars is a lot of fun and is set at the beginning of this conflict.

You may get Halo: For further details during this time, get in touch with Harvest.

It won't matter which of them you play first because they both offer something different. Halo: Reach is set after Halo: Wars. Although Halo isn't truly a chronological series, you should look at the books' and games' chronological order if you're interested in following the Halo franchise in that order.
