Cyberpunk 2077 is full of different weapons for players to try out, allowing you to customize your play style into something that's totally unique. Are you a silent samurai with an arsenal of stealthy quickhacks and a deadly katana? Are you a bruiser with a power shotgun and Gorilla Arms, punching through your enemies? No matter what your preferences are, the game puts special weight on pistols. Beyond being the default weapon for many of the game's car chase scenes, there are a ton of really awesome Iconic pistols just waiting for you to discover them and wreak havoc.

If you're having trouble finding them all, here's where to find all of the Iconic pistols in Cyberpunk 2077. Beware: Spoilers ahead.

Apparition

Type: Tech pistol

Mission: War Pigs

Location: Looted from Frank's body

This particular side mission will only be available to you if you choose the Corpo life path at the beginning of the game. Towards the end of the mission, choose options that let you interact with Frank in a hostile manner. This will lead to you killing him, and you'll be able to grab Apparition from his body.

Apparition is a tech pistol that deals extra damage with its charged shots. When your HP is at critical levels, it increases your fire rate, damage, and reload speed. If you're known for getting yourself into a tight spot with gangers and corps, you might want to pick up Apparition. You won't be able to get it later, so make sure you grab it while you can.

Chaos

Type: Tech pistol

Mission: The Pickup

Location: Dropped by Royce after a hostile altercation with Maelstrom

This is one of the first iconic weapons that you're able to pick up in the game, and boy is it a weird one. You get this pistol if you select options during this mission that make the Maelstrom boys hostile, allowing you to kill Royce and grab this gun on the way out. If you don't kill Royce, you won't be able to get it, even when you see him later during "Second Conflict".

Chaos is the epitome of a Maelstrom weapon, and it does what it says on the tin: every time you reload this pistol, your crit chance, damage type, and status effect are all randomized. It makes for some interesting shootouts, that's for certain.

Dying Night

Type: Power pistol

Mission: None

Location: The 2nd Amendment gun shop near V's apartment (Megabuilding H10)

This one is pretty simple - early in the game, V receives a call from Wilson, the owner of the 2nd Amendment gun shop in their apartment complex. He says that they should come pick up their gun - go and grab it, and presto, you've got Dying Night.

Dying Night is heavily implied to be V's gun from her nomad days, and it's got some serious perks to using it. The reload time is significantly reduced, and you get an additional 50% damage from headshots.

Genjiroh

Type: Smart pistol

Mission: Play It Safe/Last Caress

Location:

  • Play It Safe: Locked door to the right after exiting the elevator prior to eliminating the second sniper - must be opened with 11 Technical Ability or the passcode 2906.
  • Last Caress: On the desk in the server room of the Arasaka estate. Grab it before speaking to Hanako to get it before the end of the game.

Genjiroh is unique amongst iconic weapons in Cyberpunk 2077 because it can actually be found in two places. Grab it during Play It Safe to get more time to have fun with it, because it's a really cool gun.

Genjiroh is one of the most powerful pistols in the game - it can target up to six enemies at once and has an increased magazine size and projectile speed. And if that wasn't enough, it deals electrical damage with a chance to apply Shock. It's the best tool for clearing a room or just strolling through an Assault in Progress with ease.

Konguo

Type: Power pistol

Mission: The Heist

Location: In Yorinobu's penthouse in his nightstand

Yorinobu Arasaka seems to have a penchant for underdog weapons with a bit of a twist, because much like the other iconic weapon that you get from this mission (Satori), Konguo is kind of a weird one.

The main thing you'll notice first about this weapon is that it has a reduced clip size, which can be a bit annoying for the first while. However, it has a lower recoil and an increased fire rate, making it a unique but totally useable weapon, especially if your reload reflex has been honed by games like Halo or Doom.

La Chingona Dorada

Type: Power pistol

Mission: Heroes

Location: Jackie's memorial altar inside El Coyote Cojo 24 hours after completing the mission

As much memorials as they are collectibles, this pair of powerful pistols are Jackie's signature weapons. You get them from his altar after attending his funeral - I won't judge you if you also take a minute to cry during this moment.

La Chingona Dorada packs a heavy punch - it has a lower reload time and an extra mod slot for ultimate customization, with an extra chance to apply Burn or Stun to enemies. Unfortunately, you can't dual-wield them like Jackie did, even though they do come as a pair.

Lizzie

Type: Tech pistol

Mission: None

Location: Lizzie's Bar, in the basement close to Judy's server room

It's sometimes astonishing how many iconic weapons are just lying around in Night City. Case in point: Lizzie, which is just sitting on the edge of the desk in the basement of Lizzie's Bar, just begging for some sticky-fingered merc to put her to good use.

I'm quite partial to Lizzie because of my love of tech weapons - she fires an extra round each shot and the number of rounds fired increases even more when your shots are fully charged. It becomes really easy to mow your way through a ton of enemies like this, especially if you upgrade her as you go along.

Malorian Arms 3516

Type: Power pistol

Mission: Chippin' In

Location: Dropped by Grayson when you confront him

If you drooled a little over how powerful Johnny's gun is in his initial flashback sequences, then you'll be thrilled when V finally gets their hands on it. You get it off of Grayson while you're interrogating him aboard the Ebunike, and you can even choose to kill him with it.

This pistol doesn't technically have any perks, but it's still a massively powerful weapon with a very high DPS rate. It also has a stylistic perk - you whip it around and reload it just like Johnny did in his flashbacks. I'm sure he's very proud.

Plan B

Type: Power pistol

Mission: None

Location: In the landfill where Dex originally dumped your body; return after completing the game's first act

Those of you with a particularly twisted sense of revenge will love this one - you pick this gun up from beside Dexter DeShawn's dead body in the landfill where he tried to leave your corpse in the game's opening sequences. Considering that he tried to kill you with it, putting this gun up on your wall must offer a certain sense of satisfaction.

This iconic weapon is unique because it has both a perk and a drawback - your shots have a high chance to cause Bleeding, but every shot will cost you some of your hard-earned eddies.

Pride

Type: Power pistol

Mission: Knockin' On Heaven's Door

Location: Obtained when you respawn in front of Embers after finishing the game

This iconic weapon is obtained at the very end of the game as a reward for getting a particular ending. To make this ending happen, you'll need to ask Rogue for help for your final assault. After the campaign finishes, you'll be rewarded with Pride when you respawn.

Pride's perks are simple - it has an increased crit chance and does more damage for headshots. It's straightforward and powerful, just like Rogue.

Skippy

Type: Smart pistol

Mission: Undiscovered

Location: In Vista Del Rey, near College Street - the side job marker comes up as an Undiscovered mission

Skippy is about as kooky as it gets when it comes to iconic weapons in Cyberpunk 2077 - when you pick him up for the first time, you'll discover that he's an experimental prototype that talks while you fire him. He's got a wide range of dialogue that is, frankly, hilarious - from philosophizing about the morality of your actions to congratulating you for hitting your target. I wonder who his real owner is...

The main perk of Skippy is that he has two modes - Stone Cold Killer, in which he is lethal and will aim exclusively for targets' heads, and Puppy-Loving Pacifist, in which he is non-lethal and will only aim for the legs and lower extremities. This makes him really useful in certain situations, especially when hunting cyberpsychos for the Psycho Killer missions. Beware though - after you kill 50 people with him, he will permanently switch to whatever mode you didn't select when you picked him up.

And that's it for Part 2 of my Cyberpunk 2077 Iconic weapons guide! Part 3 is all about revolvers, so keep an eye out!
