Getting Ahead In Diablo Immortal

Diablo Immortal, as of this writing, is currently in a closed Beta phase. It is available on mobile devices, and for those of you with an emulator for your PC, Diablo Immortal can be played on some emulators.

Like its PC versions, Diablo Immortal offers their players multiple classes to choose from and play as. The classes available to play are:

• Barbarian.
• Wizard.
• Demon Hunter.
• Monk.
• Crusader.
• Necromancer.

No matter what class you choose to play, there are certain parts of the game you will want to make sure you are doing in order to get ahead and stay ahead. Before we begin with the daily activities you will want to complete, let's discuss a couple of things that are easily missed with the current tutorial that is in place.

Charms

At level 45 your character will be able to equip a charm that will help make them more powerful. Charms that you are not using can be salvaged for Alchemical Powder, which can be used to increase the Rank of the Charm.

You will want to make sure that you hold on to any Charms that you find so that you can salvage them later. You do not salvage these at the Blacksmith as you do with other equipment. You will need to go to the Charm Craftsman, which can be found in Westmarch, in order to salvage the Charms to get the Alchemical Powder.

Essence Transfer

As you progress through the world of Diablo Immortal, you will come across Legendary equipment. This equipment is rarer than other equipment and will add not only magical attributes, but also a Legendary Attribute that will enhance one of your skills.

You can take your Legendary equipment to the Essence Transfer merchant and extract the Legendary Attribute. This will destroy the legendary equipment but will save the legendary attribute that the piece of equipment enhanced.

You can then use that attribute with other legendary equipment you acquire later in the game and have the equipment Inherit that legendary attribute.

Legendary equipment that has an attribute you have already extracted you will want to salvage that for the Glowing Shard material which will be used to upgrade equipment later on.

Now lets talk about some of the activities you will want to make sure you are doing on a daily basis.

Daily Bounties

Every day you will have the option to complete daily bounties in Diablo Immortal. You get 2 sets of 4 bounties which will take you to a specific map within the game. Each set of 4 bounties will need to be completed in these areas.

You can refresh the bounties up to 3 times if you choose. Doing these bounties will give you both battle points and rewards for their completion. Not only that, as you complete the bounties you will come across elite monsters in the maps which will give you rewards as well.

Elder Rift

Visit the Elder Rift every day, even if you don't plan on making a run. Every day you can claim 1 free Rare Crest. You can use these crests when you make an Elder Rift run to acquire more items. These items will be needed for upgrades and crafting. You don't need to horde your crests and keep saving them. At most wait until you have 3 crests and then use them in a Rift run.

If you can, be sure to group up with others. This will make the rift more difficult but also give you the chance for much better rewards. You can do the rift solo if you choose but it's always best to group up when you can.

Challenge Rift

Diablo Immortal also has Challenge Rifts. Every level will be more difficult than the last and allows you to get placement in the Challenge Rift Rankings. By completing the Challenge Rifts, you will also acquire Enigmatic Crystals.

The Enigmatic Crystals will be used to upgrade your equipment, increasing stats as you do so. Make sure you are completing the Challenge Rifts, getting as high as you can, and getting the Enigmatic Crystals to upgrade your equipment.

Bestiary

As you fight monsters in Diablo Immortal, in the open world, monsters will occasionally drop Monstrous Essence. After collecting 10 of the Essences, you can turn them in at the Bestiary. This will provide you with good rewards. You can also get Battle Points by completing the Bestiary up to 3 times a day.

Zone Activities

Most of the zones in Diablo Immortal will have an Activity or Event. Some of them are on a time schedule and others require you to defeat monsters or collect items that can be occasionally found. Once you have completed that you can complete the Activity/Event to grab some better rewards.

It is well worth completing these, sometimes you will be able to pick up some Legendary equipment among other valuable items from the drops.

Event Quests

In the different zone maps within the game, you will come across some Event Quests given by a person on the map. Complete these when you come across them. It won't take much time and will reward you with Enchanted Dust, among other items.

The Enchanted Dust is a requirement and needed for upgrading some of your equipment. Each level of the equipment upgrade will require a greater amount of Enchanted Dust than the previous level and it is not a quick material to acquire.

Pickup All Equipment

As you fight through Diablo Immortal, the monsters will drop equipment of different rarities. It might be tempting to just take the more rare items. You are much better off to get everything. When your inventory is full you can portal to the nearest safe zone and quickly salvage the equipment for Scrap Materials and Enchanted Dust.

Once you're done you can go back through your portal and continue where you left off.

The Scrap Materials you will be able to turn in for Enchanted Dust. The Scrap Materials will also be needed for equipment upgrades. When you have an abundance of Scrap Materials, portal over to Westmarch and convert some of the Scrap Materials for Enchanted Dust.

This will help you to level up your equipment more quickly, which in turn increases your stats.

Final Notes

There is a lot more to do in Diablo Immortal. Check your Codex often to look for activities you can do which will grant Battle Points. Travel to different areas within the game, and battle through different dungeons with groups of people as often as you can.

You will also come across chests and Heavy Ornate Chests with a chance for good and Legendary equipment. The Heavy Ornate Chests will require 4 people to open but it is worth opening them.
