Just like with anything new, there are some important things you need to know to make sure you’re as prepared as possible for your first game!

Bring lots of water.

Gel ball requires a lot of quick movements to get around the field. You will be running around a lot and sweating a lot. A LOT. With Australian heat, you already know how important this is. Hydrate a lot, before, during and after!

Wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty.

No matter what the weather conditions are when you play, make sure you wear comfortable clothing that can get dirty. You’ll be diving, jumping, rolling, running, and everything else that allows for your clothes to get dirty quickly. Make sure your outfit is equipped for this.

Extra tip: Avoid tight clothing. Ultra Elite Gels are a hardened formula of gels that can definitely sting on impact. Wearing looser clothes lessens your chances of this! Never ever remove your eye protection no matter what.
