One of the great advantages for Unity is the portability. Every project can easily be exported to any platform you might need it: Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android and even web browser.

However the usability of these port of course depend on how well the project is design for different screen resolutions and input methods like keyboard, mouse, touch, gamepad or even VR controllers.

Another great platform to work on for flexibility and portability is web browser based games. Using HTML5 Canvas and WebGL technologies, these games don't need installation and everyone who can open a web address can open and play the game without any barrier to entry or friction. The only reason this platform has so far lagged behind and not dominated the industry is that the capabilities of playing games in a browser were too limiting until this point. By now even experimental ports like Unreal Engine made it to the web browser.
