Fuse Games Is a New Game Studio With Former Need for Speed Developers

A new AAA game studio has emerged from the collaboration of former Criterion developers who worked on Need for Speed Unbound.

Named Fuse Games, it is based in Guildford, UK, with former Electronic Arts VP and Criterion Games General Manager Matt Webster leading the team as the studio’s General Manager.

The studio has a team of 17 members, including Steve Uphill as Head of Content, Pete Lake as Head of Production, Alan McDairmant as Head of Operations, and Andrei Shires as Head of Technology.

Fuse Games is currently working on a new AAA title that promises to offer “blockbuster spectacle” and “player-centric innovations in social gameplay, self-expression, and creativity.”

In a statement, Webster expressed his enthusiasm for the games industry, stating the following:
