components

This guide is for people who want to buy or planning to buy a computer for gaming. Read carefully! (If i did mistace pls write)

First of all is budget. For +-700$ you can get good pc for maximum graphics at 1080p for most of games. But somebody dont have that ammount of money or low or medium graphics is enough for him. So lets start:

1.Graphics card: if u want to play minimum at 1080@60 on low or medium graphics 4GB GPU is enough (examples: GTX 1650)

For 1080@60 on max settings for most of games enough is 8GB GPU (examples:RX 6600, RX 7600, RTX 3060, ARC A750)

For 1440@60 on max graphics enough is 10-12GB GPU but 8GB still can be enough(maybe dlss or fsr will be needed for smooth gameplay) (examples: RTX 3070, RTX 3070ti, RTX 3060ti, RX 6800 XT)

For 2160@60 on max graphics enought will be 16GB but 12GB can be enough (examples: RTX 3080+, RTX 4070+, RX 7900 XT (+ mean better GPU from the same series like RTX 4080))

Also we can say about integrated GPU. This GPU is build in CPU. It uses the RAM memory from ur pc (dedicated GPU have own VRAM memory). Mostly integrated GPU is maded only for buiseness, not for gaming but for example hd5500 on I3 5005u can hold games like CS:GO, ETS2 or World Of Tanks on low graphics at 768p or 720p smoothly.

Buying GPU u need to see: -do you have enough power suply (too low power suply can decrease ur fps); -CPU: because bad CPU can be a bottleneck; -PCIE: latest motherboards have PCIE 4.0 connector. Older GPU have PCIE 3.0 which wont work on PCIE 4.0, but PCIE 4.0 will work at PCIE 3.0

2.CPU: you can have the best GPU but if u have bad cpu you just wasted money. This work in two sides. You can have the best CPU but if u have bad GPU it will be a bottleneck. CPU have sockets which is different for generation of CPU and a producer of it. I will show u some popular sockets: Intel(lga 1200, lga 1700), AMD(AM3, AM4, AM5)

Buying CPU you need to see: -socket: for example CPU with socket AM4 does not fir for lga 1700; -motherboard: this can be a bottleneck for CPU; -GPU: but it isnt important if you want to have CPU for future; -chipset: Motherboard can have socket which will be fit with CPU but chipset wont be correct for it.

3.Motherboard: this is a spine of pc. This is a component where is conected most of components. Motherboard have differents: sockets, chipsets, PCIE conectors and sizes.

Buying Motherboard u need to see: -size: some motherboards wont fit in case (standarts of it is : ATX, Micro ATX, Mini ATX, Nano ITX, Pico ITX); -CPU: socket and chipset; -ur needs: usb ports, jack porst etc... .

4.RAM memory: RAM is a memory which stores datas for program work. Standards of RAM: ddr3, ddr4, ddr5. RAM memory have CAS latecy, it refers to how long the computer needs to wait before it can actually start reading data from memory. Most of players have 16 or 32 GB of RAM but 16GB is enough for now but latest games show us it will cahnge in a few years. Too low RAM can cause freezing of game for miliseconds which will be bad when u play shooter games.

Buying RAM u need to see: -RAM slots: ddr3 wont fit in ddr4 and ddr5 wont fit in ddr4; -frequency: bigger frequency mean faster data transfer.

5.Hard drive: We have 3 typed of hard drives: a)HDD-the slowest one and the easiest do damage but it have mor lifespan; b)SSD-fast hard drive with lower lifespan compare to hdd; c)NVME -the smallest and the fastest hard drive. Compare to rest it not plugged with sata cable but nvme input. This type of hard drive is really hot during work; thats why some motherboards have cooler for this hard drive.

Buying hard drive you need to see: -PCIE generation (for nvme): lower generation of PCIE have lower data sending limit; -sata generation:the same proble as with nvme hard drives;

Advice: hdd hard drives can be good only for office work.

6.Power suply: only thing is to buy enough or with more power than its needed for gpu.

7.CPU cooler: Some of CPU have box version of cooler which is enough for it. Too bad cooler for CPU can cause too hight temperatures of CPU, which will decrease the fps or in some years destroy CPU. We have 3 types of CPU coolers: air, water and aio (all in one).

Buying CPU cooler u need to see: -size of case: some coolers like water cooler can be too big for case and can block RAM slots; -size of CPU: too smal cooler wont work perfectly because some size of CPU will be hot;

8.Case: the most important thing is to have enough big case to fit all components inside. I wrote the standarts of cases during writing abou motherboards. Also important thing is to buy case wwith enought ammount of coolers (still you can buy it) and spaces where fresh air can come and hot air can run.

This is all at this moment. Wait for next part. See Ya :)
