Is Assassin's Creed Mirage about Ezio?
What is Assassin's Creed Mirage? Assassin's Creed Mirage is a back-to-basics approach for the long-running series, with Ubisoft returning to the stealth-action, narrative-driven roots that defined Altair and Ezio's earliest adventures.
Is Assassin's Creed Mirage in Iran?
Assassin's Creed Mirage takes place at the height of the Hidden Ones as an organization, and this castle represents that in terms of real-life and in-game lore. Real-world Alamut Castle was a mountain fortress built in Persia, modern day Iran, and now lies in ruins.
Is Assassin's Creed Mirage coming to PC?
Assassin's Creed Mirage isn't coming to Steam on PC, which will surely disappoint fans. The next entry in the long-running Ubisoft series was first announced back in September 2021.
Is Assassin's Creed Mirage related to Valhalla?
Assassin's Creed Mirage: Everything we know so far | Rock …

Assassin’s Creed Mirage isn't coming to Steam on PC, which will surely disappoint fans.
The next entry in the long-running Ubisoft series was first announced back in September 2021. However, up until recently, we hadn't seen any gameplay and with reports of internal delays, fans of the Assassin’s Creed series grew concerned that Mirage would enter the dreaded developmental hell.
Alas, this week during the PlayStation Showcase event, all our concerns were washed away like the sands of time when Assassin’s Creed Mirage was unveiled to the world with an incredible gameplay trailer. What’s more, Assassin’s Creed Mirage promises to bring back an emphasis on stealth and some hope that it will also mean far less bloated RPG elements.
Furthermore, the map to Mirage also recently leaked and it’s a lot smaller than recent entries, something that I’m all for. As with previous titles, Mirage will also be multi-format across PC, PlayStation and Xbox. The game will be available both physically and digitally, which seems like I'm stating the obvious but it's been revealed that Alan Wake II - also revealed during the showcase - is digital only, so it's good to confirm.
As for PC players, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is available via Ubsioft’s own launcher, while players will also hope to at least have the choice of Steam or the Epic Games Store. Unfortunately though, as reported by Comicbook.com, Assassin’s Creed Mirage will not be available on Steam. This will no doubt disappoint a lot of fans because up until Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, series entries have been available on the platform. This means that other than Ubisoft’s own launcher, PC players can only purchase Mirage via the Epic Games Store.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be released for PC, PlayStation and Xbox on 12 October 2023.
Well, I had plenty of predictions ahead of tonight’s PlayStation Showcase but I really didn’t think we’d be getting our first look at Assassin’s Creed Mirage with the Ubisoft Forward just around the corner but hey, here we are. It’s a pleasant surprise because let me tell you, the gameplay looks fantastic.
Earlier this year, it was revealed that Ubisoft are set to return to annual Assassin’s Creed releases, following a difficult financial year and the quiet cancellation of three unannounced games. After Mirage, we already know about Codename Red, Codename Hexe, and Codename Jade but let’s not get too ahead of ourselves. Assassin’s Creed Mirage will feature Valhalla’s Basim and is set in ninth century Baghdad. For months, we’ve been hearing that the game will utilise Unity’s parkour system and return to the franchise’s roots and if this new trailer is anything to go by, that certainly seems to be true.
