A 'Zone of the Enders' Remaster Is Coming to PlayStation 4 With VR Support
The company announced that this new version of 'Zone of the Enders' will boast enhanced graphics and 4K resolution support.
It seems the Konami and Hideo Kojima feud has finally come to an end, with a recent announcement suggesting all has been resolved between the two.
During Tokyo Game Show 2017 Konami announced that they are bringing #ZoneoftheEnders, which launched in 2001 and was originally directed by Hideo Kojima, to the PlayStation 4. They've also announced that the remastered title will take on a new name all together: Anubis Zone of the Enders: Mars.
The company announced that this new version will boast enhanced graphics and 4K resolution support. The company also revealed that the game will be taking advantage of having "next-gen surround sound," while also boasting "complete VR support" for fans who own a PlayStation VR headset.
This new iteration comes only 5 years later after the original release of an HD version, which landed on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 back in 2012. This newly updated version will be heading exclusively to the PlayStation 4 in 2018. You can check out the trailer below.
Regardless if Hideo Kojima was even involved with the project, it's nice to see that Konami still has respect for this overlooked gem.
