3 Reasons YOU Should Be Watching newLEGACYinc

Article Written for the BIG DAWGS

The group known as newLegacyInc was blessed upon this world in the year 2009. The group consists of Jawnny (johnEblud), THE BIG DAWG Jericho (Jericho222), Slip, Htial, Duel (duel3000), LT, Sprite, Blake, and Dino. This group is mostly known for their livestream playthroughs of WWE/pro wrestling video games.

These S.O.B.s have some of the most entertaining Twitch streams I've ever experienced, whether it be a weekly nL Universe stream with Jawnny and Jericho, or the special Brawl For All events that involve chat involvement through their BenjalsBucks voting system.

Another credit to the group's name is their fans. The fans of nL are some of the most supportive and understanding when it comes to their inconsistent content and their strange streaming schedules. It doesn't matter how late at night or how early in the morning, they always draw in their regular viewers, excited for what they may see, and sometimes... who they hear, which brings me into my first reason.

Reason #1: Special Guests

Jawnny's Biggest Rival, Dakota Kai

Did you know professional wrestlers like to play video games?

Of course. They're human people, (most) born into a video game generation. Plus, pro wresting is hard work. Who wouldn't want to kick back and play some video games after a day of getting beat up?

Professional wrestlers such as "The World's Sweetest Man" Jervis Cottenbelly, NXT's Dakota Kai, and "IMPACT's local Skywalker" Andrew Everett have been featured on newLegacyinc's (arguably, most hilarious and most entertaining) streams.

Back in August 2014, newLEGACYinc invited the most infamous writer/booker in the history of professional wrestling, Vince Russo, to play the wrestling booking simulation game, EWR, on stream. Mr. Russo agreed, and he played this game almost two hours on stream with the nL crew. Watching it live was so surreal, but one of the greatest things about nL is that their videos are extremely rewatchable. Here is the video, and I sincerely wish you'd watch it.

Reason #2: The Hosts and Their Personalities

The nL boys are very active on Twitter with fans

Everyone has a favorite "nL boy," and for most, it's Jawnny (sorry, Duel), but everyone has a favorite host for a different reason. Maybe it's something simple that sways someone to say that one member is their favorite, like Jericho doing the "BIG DAWG" voice, or Jawnny's laugh, or Dino's impressions. Maybe it's something more meaningful, like how relatable the hosts are when they complain about something going on in their lives and how they feel about it, or when they read fan stories about how members of their family have passed away due to cancer (nL do a bi-yearly charity stream for the Canadian Cancer Society) and how their videos helped them cope with their loss. The nL crew are filled with characters, and these characters aren't always for entertainment purposes. They feel genuine.

Reason #3: Community

Fan rendering for nL stream, "Brawl For All 4"

Remember earlier when I mentioned how dedicated nL fans are?

Yeah, we're insane, and the guys let us get away with things that most other large-named streamers would ban us for on sight, but that's because we're more like a big family than just a fanbase, and the boys see us like that, too.

Thank you for reading this article! This is my first written article ever, and I just wanted to write about something I feel really strongly about.

Thanks to Vocal for the opportunity.
