For a beginner in Battle Royale, Fortnite is really something you should experience. Beautiful graphics, playable on multiple platforms and especially featured gameplay are the strengths that Fortnite has.

Of course, knowing more tricks and understanding them, it will be easier for you to reach and surpass 99 opponents in a game. Here's what you should know to play Fortnite more effectively.

1. You can't pick up anything you can pick up at Spawn Island.

When you start on Spawn Island, you’ll find guns, bullets and building materials just waiting for you to grab. And of course you can catch them, the thing is that it is impossible to bring Fortnite maps. Think of Spawn Island as a place where you get acquainted with Fortnite, maybe you can only be there for exactly one minute when you have to wait for 100 players. You can shoot anything with a gun but do no damage. If you are a guy who likes peace, try building your own ‘sched hut’.

2. Wait as long as possible on the flying bus.

You can jump off this bus at any time (which happens all the time), but one trick to keep you from "disappearing" early on is to stay out of the early game skirmish and just jump off the bus. for the last 3 seconds before reaching the end point. This is quite important because avoiding fights early on makes it easier for you to choose the ideal hiding places in the early game. Just aim for the roofs to jump down, then look for the chests containing the items there. Don't jump to your death, unless that damned airship forces you to.

3. Your glider deploys automatically .

When you jump off the flying bus, the glider you cling to will automatically open when you reach a certain height. Active opening is unnecessary and sometimes dangerous for you because people on the ground will know where you are. And then…not after that….

4. Use the small potion before taking the bigger one.

Around the map you will find small and big blue potion bottles, which give you 25 shields and 50 shields respectively if you drink them (same button for shooting). The advice is to use the small bottle first because once you have 50 or more shields, you can't use any more small bottles.

5. Rifles and submachine guns are the best starting weapons .

It is recommended that you pick up rifles and submachine guns when you first start playing Fortnite. Sniper guns are quite useless at a distance of less than 75m, so when you have this gun and you don't use it for anything, you will get "stuck". Another thing you need to remember is that when shooting someone, you should use real shots effectively, and this goes for rifles and submachine guns, and sometimes even handguns. Pistols help you move faster and more agile, so hold them when exploring buildings, small areas and tunnels.

6. Pay attention to the colors of the guns.

Gray guns are the most common, then green, blue and yellow will increase in rarity. Golden guns like RPG or SCAR rifle possess very high efficiency, so do not ignore them. Check the details of the guns in your inventory to know which ones you should hold, which ones you should keep.

7. Please wear headphones to play.

Hearing footsteps is extremely important for shooting games regardless of Battle Royale and casual FPS. This helps you to last longer in the game. Knowing exactly which direction the opponent is approaching will give you more time to prepare for shots in the upcoming skirmish.

8. Build structures before you heal.

Use healing when you're behind the buildings you build. Using a health pot or a shield will take a while, maybe even up to 10 seconds. At this point you cannot move, shoot or do anything to check around. That means if exposed, you can be shot down without being able to fight back. A wall will give you more time to do the above. One trick is to build walls near cliffs.

9. Remember jumping from the 3rd floor will cause you to lose health.

This is not a complete fantasy world. Be careful with jumps from above to the ground, especially watch out for buildings with at least three floors. Jumping down will cause you to lose blood rather ungracefully. Instead, build a system of slides that plunge down hills or cliffs.

10. The higher the better.

When starting the game with 100 different people, the height of your position affects the control of vision. Of course, this is not the most important thing. If possible, build buildings as high as possible, even reaching for the sky. When detected and damaged, jump continuously to make it harder for your opponent to identify and hit you. A pretty good strategy is to build four walls around you in a square, then build a ramp up the wall facing your enemy. This will give you a convenient spot for sniping. When necessary, you can withdraw easily. Just repeat the jump build recipe to build underfoot, until you're in a makeshift tower and have the health, gun, and grenade advantage.
