World statistics day

I celebrate this day today by speaking at two conferences, one in Malaysia and one in Sweden, both benefiting from tangible conferences. Both events celebrate World Statistics Day and focus on connecting the world to reliable data. Motto Connect the world with the data we already have, and two days go by.

Five years ago, the United Nations declared October 20 World Day to mark the significance of official statistics. On October 20, 2010, the world celebrated the first day of World Statistics Day (WSD) to raise awareness about the many achievements in statistics based on core values of service, technology, and integrity. On October 20, 2010, WSD Day was established to mark the success of global statistical programs at the national and international levels.

The first day of global statistics was organized with the support of partners such as the Geneva Authority, Switzerland's permanent representative to the United Nations, and the Federal Statistical Office. It recognizes and respects the ongoing flow of information UNSD to people around the world to promote good governance, transparency, and accountability. The mid-day highlight was created by the UN Statistics Commission for the 2010 event.

In India, World Statistics Day is celebrated on June 29, the birthday of mathematician Prasanta Chandra Mahalanobis. In 2010, the Day, launched by the United Nations Statistical Commission, became a joint venture of 103 people. In 2015 the National Council decided on Resolution 96/282 to declare 20 October 2015 the Second World Statistics Day under the theme “Better Data, Better Health” and to celebrate it on October 20 every five years.

The basic principles of official statistics were established by the United Nations Statistics Commission in 1994. India celebrates National Mathematics Day on June 29, the birthday of mathematician Prasanta Chandra Mahalanobis. He was a scientist and mathematician from Bengal known for his distance from mathematical steps. He was one of the members of the first Free India Planning Commission.

Statistics include the collection, analysis, and interpretation of a wide range of numerical data. Official statistics help policymakers to formulate sound policies that affect millions of people. It was not until 1994 that the United Nations Statistics Commission adopted the basic principles of official statistics.

Industries around the world are benefiting from statistical and data research. Second World Statistics Day is an opportunity to highlight the importance of official data to improve living conditions. On this day, let us recognize the important role that mathematics plays in enabling us to inform decisions and provide an understanding of the things that make up our countries and our lives.

In his latest blog Making the World Connected: Statistics, Shigeru Kawasaki, Chairman of the United Nations Statistical Commission, talks about the Coronavirus Pandemic (COVID-19) and the important role that statistics play. Join statistics from around the world to discuss the future of Federal Statistics in their countries. Today's event allows us to share plans and celebrate Government 2021 analysis.

In recent interviews with partners in the UK, we have sought to learn from each other and changed the way we provide data and analysis to our customers. This collaboration expands everyone's knowledge and keeps the global statistical system moving. Statistics is a vaccine that protects our democracy, and it is up to us to help manage capacity.

One of the state's most important statistical authorities, E.R., Adheres to strict data quality standards. The main function of the Statistics Commission is to set statistical standards.

As we celebrate the 20th day of global statistics 2020, ADB reiterates its commitment to building new mathematical tools that bring timely and useful information, build capacity for data development and connect the world with the data we trust. The video below shows how the ADB helps strengthen the capacity of national statistical systems to collect reliable data.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics records the number of paid holidays available to employees through the National Compensation Survey. According to key indicators in Asia and the Pacific, the Asia-Pacific region makes a significant contribution to global economic productivity, investment, and trade.

In my story, I would like to say that sixty years ago when I was born into a family where my grandfather and father were both doctors and my weight was taken from time to time and weight and height were maintained, I saw mathematical significance for my health and real human life. Therefore in honor of the celebration that takes place on World Statism Day every five years, pumpkin seizures, special food, and store sales will be held and on October 20th, 2020, we BLS and our partners must take the time to see the importance of accuracy, timely statistics, and objectives.

For example, last spring, BTS began publishing the first traffic statistics for US airlines more than a month before the official publication of official statistics. When the need for frequent renewal of cargo and passenger travel increased during the epidemic, BTS responded by continuing to provide monthly statistical updates, but deployed resources to generate daily and weekly data to respond to the "information needs" of decision-makers.
