Throughout human history, there have been many incidents that do not have any eluded explanation. Due to several known and unknown reasons we are often only left with some crucial questions, but no one to answer them. The majority of the time the evidence went missing, or the archaeological site got destroyed itself.

These cases are often accompanied by a slew of conspiracies. Archaeologists, government agencies, and scientists often hide the results and important information from common people. We might not have exact proof and documentation of all the events but we do have numerous conspiracy theories, that will surely blow your mind.

1. The Ninth Planet

From our very childhood, we learned that in our solar system we have eight planets and six dwarf planets. Pluto was our ninth planet, but soon it was eliminated from the list. But scientists throughout the world are suspecting the presence of a much bigger planet in our solar system, named 'Planet X', suspected to weigh more than 10 Earth's masses.

Astronomer, Mike Brown and Konstantin Batygin are working on this mysterious ninth planet. They provided us with several pieces of evidence and documentation that point to the existence of that confidential ninth planet. The weirdly symmetrical alignment of the six furthest objects around the sun is not coincidental. However, we are certain about one single thing, if the planet does exist then it's very very far away.

2. Why we sleep?

Sleep is not that simple as we think, it's far more complicated than its sounds like. There are "sleep scientists" around the globe trying to improve the quality of our sleep, finding the cause of insomnia, and the reason why we sleep. YES, there are certain evolutionary benefits of sleeping, but there are a lot of animal species out there who have not slept whats so ever.

Animals like Jelly Fish, Sponges, bacteria, and viruses, and also our trusted friend - plants. Scientists are still struggling to find the real cause behind our sleep and why complicated animals need to sleep for staying healthy and fit.

3. What about the Pyramids?

Pyramids are fascinating structures and one of our wonders of the world. It's not only a wonder it's also a source of several conspiracy theories. Egyptian Pyramids are extremely, and I mean EXTREMELY heavy. A pyramid weighs more than a whopping 6 million tons, where each stone weighs more than three tons.

Now here comes the tricky part, even with the super-advanced machinery of the 21st century we can't build a replica of the Egyptian pyramids. So how the hell did they able to build that masterpiece that dated back to four thousand years, so perfectly. Some believe that they took help from the aliens, YES ALIENS! Some say that their civilization was far more advanced than we think. Whatever it is, the mystery of Egyptian pyramids is still unsolved.

4. Jack the unknown ripper

Jack the ripper was an English serial killer, whose identity is still unknown, and he was never being identified. He was active between August and November 1888. He killed five women all of them were prostitutes, in or near the Whitechapel district of London's East End.

Unfortunately enough, he was never being identified, and due to lack of evidence, the case is closed. Today the murder sites are tourist locations in London. Mysteriously, the murders stopped after November 1888.

5. The unreadable script

You probably heard about the Voynich Manuscript. If not then read ahead. It was just an ordinary script with some weirdly written words back when it was purchased by a Polish book dealer Wilfrid Voynich in 1912, but it soon became a sensation in 20 and 21st century

Long story short, the manuscript is written in an unknown dialect, that is still not decoded. The script is full of beautiful illustrations of plants, herbs, trees, women bathing, dragons, castles, and many more. No one has the slightest clue about the dialect and some people just throw it off as a hoax.

6. The vanished plane

Malaysia Airline 370 mysteriously vanished while flying through the Indian ocean. The plane's wreckage was never been found, except few fragments washed up on the shore of some of the remote islands on the western Indian ocean. The plane takes off from the international airport of Kuala Lumpur to the planned destination of Beijing Capital International Airport.

There are some allegations against the pilot, Zaharie Ahmad Shah that, he allegedly crashed the plane on the Indian ocean. However, at 2:22 am Malaysian military radar lost contact with the plane over the Andaman Sea. But that was not the end of the communication, later some satellites over the Indian ocean detected some signals from the plane with an hourly intervention. The plane was last detected at 8:11 AM.

7. The hope diamond

The hope diamond is one of the most beautiful and expensive diamonds of all time. With stunning looks and elegant colour, it's surely a piece of eternal art. At 45.52 carats, the beautiful blue diamond is one inch in length and 0.8 inches in width. The diamond was mined in the 17th-century diamond mines of Golconda, India. It was then purchased by French merchant Jean Baptiste Tavernier.

The diamond was worn by some of the most influential and popular monarchs of all time. Unfortunately, the diamond carries the burden of some of the most pathetic incidents of the entire history.

It was first worn by King Louis XIV in 1688. He and his wife later got guillotined in 1793.

King George IV of England got the diamond next. He died leaving behind an enormous amount of debts.

It was then auctioned and purchased by Henry Philip Hope. He died and his family sold the diamond to pay the enormous debt that was left behind by Henry Hope.

After some hands, the diamond finally came to Evalyn Walsh McLean. She also suffered several disasters in her life. Her son died in a car accident, her daughter died of a drug overdose, her husband died in a sanitarium and her family was forced to sell their newspaper, the Washington Post, in a bankruptcy auction.

8. The hidden treasure

From our very childhood, we learned and heard stories about buried treasures on an unknown island by some strange pirates. As we grow up we often quote them false. But there is an island named the Oak Island situated in Nova Scotia, Canada holds the mystery of a hidden treasure, supposedly left behind by a pirate named Capt. William Kidd.

Over time numerous expeditions have been made that do not yield any fruitful results. However, that never stops enthusiastic adventurous lads on stepping on the oak island digging the mud to test their lucks. Moreover, a tv show has been made that was named after the oak island:- "Curse of Oak Island".
