- Daffy Duck
Daffy Duck first appeared in the 1937 short Porky Duck Hunt, directed by Tex Avery and animated by Bob Clampett. Daddy Duck was one of the first "screwball" characters and appeared in 130 Golden Age shorts.
He frequently appears with his sidekick Porky Pig and is depicted as Bugs Bunny's jealous rival. In cartoon series such as Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies, the black duck is portrayed as Bugs Bunny's rival/friend. Melissa Duck is his female counterpart.
- Bugs Bunny
Bugs Bunny, one of the most famous cartoon characters of all time, first appeared in a Tex Avery-directed cartoon called A Wild Hare in 1940. During America's Golden Age of Animation, he was created by Leon Schlesinger and voiced by Mel Blanc.
